Good part would buy again.
Had to remove the sensor from the magnetic base since the rivets that hold the sensor to the magnetic base kept the sensor too far away from the heat source to be accurate and keep the my unit from overheating. After removing the base, I screwed the sensor directly to the heat source, and it worked perfectly. I would buy it again. Would probably work fine with other applications that are not as finicky as mine.
