Review: Quality tactical torch - I really like this ACEBEAM tactical torch. My first impression was that it feels solid and really well made, and expect it will stand up a lot of use. It comes nicely boxed with a battery, wrist lanyard, small USB-C charging cable, two diffusors (white and orange), and instructions. Turning the torch on (having unscrewed the end and removed the isolation plastic on first use) activates a powerful fixed beam light. This gives plenty of light coverage and a good amount of focus. The torch feels very comfortable to hold in one hand, and the thumb-click button on the end feels responsive and robust. I also like that there's a smaller side button you can press to turn off the torch, or press and hold to cycle though various power levels. Pressing the side button multiple times also activates a strobe light effect, which when paired with a diffusor could be invaluable for safety at the roadside. I also like that the torch comes with a removable rechargeable battery that is charged with a USB-C cable. This can be swapped out for two AA disposable batteries in a pinch. My only slight complaint is that the end of the torch does get quite warm (helpfully indicated with a "hot" label at the end!), so just something to keep in mind after lots of use. Overall, I'm very impressed and this will be a travelling with me in my car for emergency situations and camping trips.
Review: A torch that remembers your settings! - Finally! A torch that remembers the settings you last used and goes back to them when you next use it. I've found it frustrating that EVERY other torch I have starts up in the mode IT chooses, not the mode I choose, and I have to fiddle about pressing buttons to get back to what I want. This remembers. It has two buttons - the front one cycles between modes, the back one is just on/off and it comes back on with the mode you last used. Simple, but very convenient. It comes with a couple of spare rubber O-rings for the front & rear screw-on openings and a wrist strap which can be attached to the rear. Instructions are easy to follow, multilanguage and appear to have been written by somebody who speaks the language they're writing - thank you. Also, the (USB-C) charging socket is directly on the battery itself. You remove the battery, charge it, then replace when charged. That might sound inconvenient, but it avoids having an external charging connector with all the weatherproofing issues it causes. It's just a better, more reliable way to charge a torch. All torches should be made this way - get one.

I really like this ACEBEAM tactical torch. My first impression was that it feels solid and really well made, and expect it will stand up a lot of use. It comes nicely boxed with a battery, wrist lanyard, small USB-C charging cable, two diffusors (white and orange), and instructions. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Torch, Ideal Size

Since I was a child I have loved torches, I have had, and still do have several. Recently one of my torches got ruined because I had forgotten to remove the AA batteries, and it resulted in the torch being ruined. The torch seems to be really well made, I like the fact that it is a fixed beam rather than adjustable for spread, although it does have different brightness levels that are easily accessed from the side button, as is a strobe light which I am unlikely to ever use. In addition to the torch, you get some spare waterproofing 'O' Rings, a wrist strap, and two silicone diffusers, there is a white one and an orange one, both allow the light to be diffused to light an area such as around a tent, or as a warning light. The diffusers simply slip over the bulb end of the torch. This is an excellent torvh, not bad value at under £30, and slim enough to easily slip into a coat pocket or a bag.
