(This was bought to supplement an in-line Aprilaire humidifier in our home HVAC system because during extreme cold weather we still had static issues. After 1.5 months of non-stop use in our Kansas City Home and with outside temps dropping to 0 degrees there have been no disappointments in this cool-mist humidifier's performance or any static issues.) We've owned many humidifiers over the years and I've never seen or used another that even comes close to the performance of this one; especially at this price. We also appreciated the seller send a note, via Amazon Marketplace, pointing out the do's and don'ts in advance of the product delivery; it was very helpful and made the assembly and initial operation easier. This humidifier is well-designed, easy to assemble, and works exceptionally well. Unlike many others we've used/seen, a misting tube/snorkel is also provided for the unit's top; raising the discharge height of the mist (a great feature for helping mist reach near elevated vent intakes), allows for increased mist concentration/effectiveness and for controlling the direction of the mist (especially away from walls). It looks a little unusual, but really makes a difference in performance. The control panel is also easy to understand and a remote is also provided that allows you select misting level, humidity level, timer, UV light, etc. In summary, We remain really happy with this purchase!

Great product.Gets job done.Easy to fill.

This large room humidifier has helped significantly to increase the wintertime low humidity levels I have expereinced over the years. It is so easy to use, and in less than five minutes it was set up and ready to receive water. The ability to top-load the water without taking the unit apart sets this unit way above most of the competition for large room humidification and will run continuously for 21 to 22 hours before needing to be refilled. It is extremely quite and provides a strong mist that comes out of the stand pipe with it's 360° ability to put the mist where you want it. Because I have radiant heat under hardwood floors, the flooring took a while to absorb the humidity, but once that was done the overall humudification in my home increased by 200% in a matter of days. Because the thermostat for the unit is near the output, I have increased the humidity level the machine produces to 65%. I have a very large (1,100 sq ft) living room, and my humidity level is measured approximately 15 feet from the unit. I'm averaging between 35% and 40% humidity on a constant basis where it is measured (even with exterior temps hovering around 0° F), and my skin is no longer dry. My dogs love it too (as you can see!) -- their paws are no longer rough and no longer need paw creams, and we aren't giving each other shocks on a constant basis! This unit is so easy to clean too. I use filtered water and have found cleaning it once every two weeks keeps the build-up of white powder a breeze to clean out with a vinegar/water mixture. Just remember to rinse it out thoroughly after cleaning (two fills with water) to eliminate any vinegar odors while initially running it again. I would highly recommend this product to anyone wanting to expereince comfortable living in the coldest of temperatures!

I have forced air heat and this humidifier is exactly what I was looking for to keep moisture in the air in my main living area. It has some size but the water capacity is perfect for extended periods of time between fills. Filling the tank is extremely easy with the top fill feature. It required 1 minute of assembly. I'm taking 1 star off for noise level because when the mist volume is set higher than 2 (there are 4 levels) the sound of water dripping is constant. Luckily I prefer the level at 2 and aside from an occasional water dripping sound there is no noise at all from the machine.

The humidifier makes such a great difference! I bought it for my living room and dining room, which are each approximately 1200 ft.². It’s not a large home but large enough that I needed something with the Fireplace going. I also have a lot of antiques that draw humidity out of the air. I was afraid they would crack in the dry winter air. This does the trick! My skin is no longer dry when I wake up in the morning, my eyes are no longer dried out and I don’t worry about my antiques drying out. It takes approximately 3 gallons of water to fill up and I only fill it up once a day and it’s still not empty even then. I love the remote making it easier to adjust humidity levels or to turn it on and off as I see fit. It is so quiet you can’t even hear it. My family all want one! I may be buying another as a housewarming gift for a family member who is moving soon! I’m so glad I bought it.

While this humidifier initially seemed to work well, it stopped functioning as it should after less than two weeks of use. With the tank 3/4 full, the system consistently turns itself off. The unit will beep, flash an indicator that the tank is empty, and then turn off. You must then either shake the unit (thus splashing water onto your floor) or deconstruct the unit in order to reach the feeder hose, burp the line, and then reattach it. The unit makes a fair amount of noise when it is humidifying, to the point that it doubles as a white noise machine. The hose is not nearly as high as it could be in order for the water vapor to end up high in the air vs bathing furniture and/or countertops. The dispenser hose is balanced on the top of the unit rather than secured onto it. If you slightly bump the humidifier, the top of it will crash onto the ground. The solitary positive for this unit is the tank size. However, as the unit shuts off after less than a few quarts of water have been vaporized, the tank size becomes completely irrelevant when evaluating the product as a whole. Save your money and invest in a humidifier that will NOT break after mere days of use.

Keeps my entire lower level at a constant 40% humidity!

I got this humidifier because my bedroom gets very dry, especially in the winter, and I wanted something that could handle a large space. I use it mostly at night while I sleep and sometimes during the day when I am working at home. It has made the air feel much more comfortable and my skin and throat have felt less dry compared to before. Compared to other humidifiers I have tried, this one holds a lot more water, so I don’t have to refill it as often. The top fill design is very convenient and the 360 degree nozzle lets me direct the mist exactly where I want it. One good thing is that it runs very quietly, so it does not disturb my sleep. One downside is that it takes up a fair amount of space in the room, so it is not ideal for small bedrooms. Overall, I am happy with how it works and the difference it has made for the air quality. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a large capacity humidifier for their home.

This humidifier has been amazing since the fall when the weather got really dry. It runs fairly quiet (you can hear it on the max setting in the middle of the night) and has a large capacity, so you don't need to refill it every day. I run it at night in my bedroom to maintain a reasonable humidity and I refill every week to week and a half. I like that it has multiple timer settings so it auto-turns off in the middle of the night. I do run it with the extended tube so the humidity gets dispersed better in the room. It has wheels on the bottom which is nice for moving it from the bedroom to bathroom for refilling. Overall, I'm really happy with it and it's been holding up great.

This has truly been a lifesaver for me during the chilly winters when the humidity plummets. I have it set up in a fairly spacious living room. Although it takes some time to increase the humidity from 20% to my desired 50%, once it reaches that point, it easily maintains it. It's quiet enough for use in a bedroom if necessary and incredibly simple to refill, which is crucial if you plan to run it continuously. I do find the 'self-clean' feature a bit questionable, but I use the water quickly enough that it doesn't sit around and develop an unpleasant smell. Whether it's a mix of that and the 'self-cleaning' indicator, I haven't detected any odor at all. This isn't a criticism of the device, but just a heads-up: when using it with hard water, all cool mist humidifiers tend to leave a white residue on surfaces because of the mineral content. This one does so even more due to the large amount of vapor it can produce.

This is an amazing humidifier that has a nice high capacity and can add moisture to a very large space. I like that on the low setting it can run for a very long time without having to add more water to it. It puts out a torrent of thick mist on the highest setting as well which is fantastic. It also has wheels on the base which is really great for being able to move it around if you need to. The outlet for the mist is on a nice extension pole so it just launches it a bit higher in the air so it doesn't collect as much on the ground underneath the humidifier. It also allows you to get the mist away from the wall and the furniture. It also has custom humidity settings which is fantastic, it will keep adding humidity into the room until it reaches a set point that you choose, at that point it shuts off. This is a really great feature that cheap humidifiers don't have and it prevents you from accidentally turning your room or house into a sauna. It is, of course an ultrasonic humidifier, so with any ultrasonic humidifier you do have to clean it about once a week to make sure that it doesn't start to get grimy inside. A little bit of a downside I would note is that the manual is not very good and doesn't include a lot of details. For example, it has a UV filter inside of it, but there's no details about it. I'm not sure how often I need to change the bulb I and I don't have any details about how it works. That said, it's not really an advertise feature, so I'm not too worried about it and humidifier itself works phenomenally. So I won't take off a star for that, but it is a little bit annoying. Otherwise, I'm very happy with this humidifier, it does a great job adding moisture to a room or even entire floor of a house. It runs quietly and has added convenience via the included remote.
