Does the key board lock so that you can operate in tablet mode without the keyboard folded behind the tablet being pressed??

If I understand the question correctly. When in desktop mode keyboard is enabled. and active. When keyboard is folded for Tablet mode, the keyboard is disabled & inactive. So whilst in tablet mode if a key is pressed on the keyboard nothing happens as it is disabled. Once you unfold back into Desktop mode the keyboard is enabled & active.

Is Microsoft Word installed on this laptop and can you make movies on it?

I can't answer the movies question. I write with Google Docs, which is MS Word compatible. I have been using that software for years and it can be opened by any Word user.
