Classic, Heavy Duty Hatchet
Chops and handles well, even with its considerable heft. The edge comes sharp and remains work sharp after use. The sheath is good too, holds the axe secure to the belt. The handle is made of good wood and satisfyingly ergonomically. Highly recommend it for practical work.

I don't know who makes this thing, but I know a good product when I get it in my hands. After approx. 25yrs field exp. I finally came to hard terms with what I want from a camp/ field hatchet, determined the specs, and eventually cared enough to see if this world offers anything like what I want. Well, this hatchet is it. Akin to a Norse bearded axe, this hatchet has the blade size & design, and overall length within my 14-16" range that I've been looking for. I'd spew hate if this was a bad deal - but it's actually a fine quality tool and an absurdly good deal. Human history took 6k years to finally make this axe. 'Nuff said. I'm pleased.

Solid, Reliable, and Sharp Right Out of the Box
This 15.7" hand-forged hatchet exceeded my expectations. The craftsmanship is excellent — the beech handle feels sturdy and comfortable in the hand, and the axe head is well-balanced and razor sharp. I’ve used it for splitting kindling, light carving, and even some bushcraft work, and it’s held up beautifully. The included sheath is a nice touch and makes it easy to carry safely. Great value for the quality — definitely recommend for campers, hikers, or anyone needing a versatile outdoor axe.

Solid, sharp, ready to work!
I bought this axe for chopping wood at my cabin, and it’s exceeded expectations. The build quality is excellent—solid handle, well-balanced weight, and the head came razor-sharp right out of the box. It makes splitting logs surprisingly easy, even with harder woods like oak. The grip feels secure, even after extended use, and there’s minimal vibration on impact. I've used it for a few weekends now and it’s held up well with no signs of wear or loosening. If you're looking for a reliable axe for firewood, camping, or general outdoor use, this one is a great buy. Highly recommend!

Seems to hold an edge fairly well. My son is a Scout and loved this as a Christmas present.

Was a little hesitant because of the price, but wow, this thing is gorgeous. Handle is smooth and polished, with a nice shine to it. Solid weight, great balance—just holding it feels good. The leather sheath is also top-notch—great quality, well-made, and adds a premium touch. I got to split some firewood. Oh man, it’s really sharp! Slices through wood like butter, no struggle at all. Super satisfying to use. Can’t wait to take it camping this summer. Definitely a great buy!

If you’re looking for a solid camping axe, this one is definitely worth considering. I brought it on a trip last week, and it was a game-changer for chopping firewood. The blade is sharp and cuts through logs with ease, and the balance makes every swing feel smooth and controlled. It has a sturdy wooden handle that feels comfortable to hold, and the craftsmanship gives it that rugged, reliable feel. One thing I really appreciate is the leather sheath—it’s a nice touch that keeps the blade protected when not in use. After putting it to good use, I can say it’s built to last. Whether you need it for camping, bushcraft, or just prepping firewood, this axe won’t let you down. Highly recommend it for anyone who wants a dependable tool for the outdoors!

This axe feels really solid and well-made,definitely good quality. The handle is smooth and feels great in the hand, no rough spots or splinters. I got it mainly for camping trips, and I can already tell it'll be perfect for chopping firewood and general camp use. It’s got a nice weight to it,not too heavy, but enough to get the job done. Overall, super happy with it so far.

Hello, I am extremely disappointed.....the axe head is lose and shaking, probable how it looks to me the axe can even not be fixed with additional wooden wedge or steel wedge, so there is no way to use that axe safely right now or in general, the axe also is not sharp at all, and needs a proper sharping.... would i have known that before that the quality is that low I for sure would have bought a Beaver craft or Fiskars The one i got now needs a new and proper handle because how i said, belongs my experience there is no way to fix that shaking with additional wedges. I think it is garbage and i can the axe throw away. I don't recommend to buy that axe at all.
