Like many others on here my cage arrived broken. The glass was smashed and quite dangerously so. This was most likely in part due to the amazon delivery driver squashing it onto a shelf in our storage shed that was 20% too small for the box. In addition, due to it arriving from overseas, it was one day late.IF THIS IS FOR A BIRTHDAY/GIFT, PLEASE BUY AT LEAST 1 WEEK IN ADVANCE, I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. PRIME MEMBER OR NOT.Now... The cage.The glass is crystal clear and feels of good quality, ironically. The ladder is wire but has a metal backing. The platform is metal so no wire platforms which is a massive plus side, as anyone that has done their research into gerbils will know their legs are prone to breaks on wire floors, this is what put me off the savic XL.The cage fits relatively well but the clips are a little flimsy as they just hook onto the silver plastic bezel. The dish bowel is huge and can easily fit two gerbils in it whilst feeding Haha! It comes with a stupidly small water bottle (you will need to buy a new one that's bigger) and the metal tube is far too wide for the cage so you have to really ram it in the cage. The door is quite flimsy and hard to open. I wish this cage had a large door like the savic XL gerbillarium, it would make it so much easier to interact with your pets. One tiny door for such a large gerbillarium is quite silly in my opinion.Overall I like the cage, but amazon logistics let the experience down. The packaging from ferplast was good, box in a box with corner cardboard protectors and bubble wrap. The cage is not big enough for more than 3 gerbils. Please see RSPCA guidelines on sizing. I have 4 but I have another cage attached to this one and I'm planning to get a third. This cage makes for a great central piece.If you are undecided I would reccomend this product, but be prepared for returns.

Product quality is incredible but the product is poorly packed and arrived 3 days late with all the glass smashed.

We needed to upgrade the tank due to the two gerbils clearly requiring much more space. We originally bought the smaller version of this model when we got the guys and it proved to be a great tank that was incredibly durable and easy to clean (still in excellent condition a year and a half on). So it made sense to go with what had already been working for us.Originally we had apprehension due to the other reviews stating their experience with the poor packaging that resulted in a damaged tank. We even cancelled the order, minutes after placing it as we had second thoughts and didn't want to go through the hassle of returning a possibly damage tank. We looked at a variety of alternative tanks including the zooplus range and if it wasn't for the wood platforms (which soak up the urine) or the wired platforms (which are just a serious hazard), we probably would have gone for them.Of course we decided to eventually go with the Ferplast Gabry 80 and it arrived in an even bigger box than expected. To our surprise and relief, the tank was secured with mounds of air cushion bubble wrap to the point where the tank itself could not move and I assume was the case in transit. The first thing done was to check the glass for scratches or any other damage, fortunately there was none. The packaging was a big thumbs up and alleviated any qualms we had.The tank itself is a wonderful size (79 x 30.5 x 51.4 cm) and is so easy to clean. The space also makes it great to add more things for activity purposes whether it's climbing accessories, hanging tubes, wheels, small cabins, tunnels etc. As soon as the gerbils entered the tank, they were visibly excited and probably relieved as shown by their 4 hours straight of playing and investigating their new home.For anyone put off by this product due to packaging issues, all I say is that we had no issues and it's possible that Amazon have taken these past issues on board and implemented improvements. I have yet to see any legitimate complaints about the quality of the tank itself (only the packaging that has resulted in damage to the product). The tank is perfect for our two gerbils and they seem much more happy, enjoying the large space to leap and run. As mentioned before, it's so easy to light clean and deep clean with good access through the door should you want to reach inside.The only minor issue is that the tank did not come with the black plastic protectors for the clip fasteners as mentioned by another reviewer. Fortunately, I used the two from our old tank and it works great.All in all: strong and spacious.

The first gerbilarium arrived with a huge crack in the glass, but Amazon sent a new one out immediately. Things that made me buy this particular gerbilarium: (1) the size (Gabry 80), I am very pleased that we didn’t go for a smaller one. (2) it has a glass bottom (not plastic) and a metal platform and ladder, which, I have read are preferable to protect the gerbils’ feet and tails. (3) the cage top gives more space, and is great to hang chewy things from. (4) Because of the space, we can rearrange the layout.The things I would point out/query: (1) the bowl is massive - the gerbils had to climb in to reach their food. We quickly stopped using it, as they enjoy foraging for their food. (2) why does it come with plastic tubes when gerbils are renowned for chewing everything? We haven’t used these. (3) the water bottle teat is massive and does stretch the bars. However the gerbils do seem to be getting on better with it than an alternative I had bought. (4) yes, the gerbils do have a gnaw at the black sealant - I always take that as an indicator that more cardboard tubes are urgently needed!Overall I think it’s a good buy.

I am thrilled with this purchase!! I have had glass gerbil tanks before but always felt they were hemmed in. This is fabulous! It has ample space for the gerbils to burrow and an airy space above to hang interest toys etc. Other glass gerbil around don’t have that feature. The feeding bowl is very big but I think it is good. The smaller one we had in our last gerbil home was too small and they flicked all the food out. They don’t in this one. To be honest they sit in the bowl and eat that way!! It comes with an activity tunnel and a good water bottle. It was easy to put together too. It arrived in good time and with no damage. I don’t normally write reviews but felt I had too with this product as it really is brilliant. It isn’t a cheap product but it shows in the quality and I think it’s worth every penny! Highly recommend!

Buena construcción y materiales perfectos para jerbos, que roen y arañan todo lo que no sea metal y cristal. Higiénica y muy fácil de limpiar, y en la parte inferior puedes poner 10 litros de sustrato y tiene altura para que casi nunca sean capaces de sacarlo as escarbar. Totalmente recomendable.

Super verpackt, absolut bruchfest . Sehr gute Verarbeitung, unsere 2 Rennmäuse fühlen sich sehr wohl da drin(zumindest hat sich noch keine beschwert). Die Mäuse können graben und wühlen, ohne das das Einstreu rausfliegt.

Bien qu'elle ne soit pas adaptée à aucun rongeur en raison de sa taille (60cm) elle est vraiment très costaud et très jolie. Facile à monter, il manquerait juste une ouverture sur le haut pour pouvoir accéder plus facilement à l'interieur de la cage.

Ottima gabbia, resistente e esteticamente molto bella. Facile da montare. Leggera e con molti accessori utili. Senz'altro consiglio l'acquisto per gerbilli.
