CLARO All-in-1 - Phosphate Free Eco Dishwasher Tablets in Value Pack - 70 in a Packet

Having tried Ecover dishwasher tablets in the past I was not happy with the residue they left on glassware. Have used Finish/Fairy etc for the past couple of years but decided to give eco-friendly tablets another try and found Claro All in One tablets here on Amazon. They arrived quickly, with no unnecessary packaging (the carton is lined with a plastic bag, but I can live with that). Each tablet is wrapped in a dissolving translucent wrapper, which you leave on - however, I found that this wrapper meant the tablet got stuck in the tablet compartment and that it therefore didn't get projected into the machine (Miele), I found half the tablet left in the compartment when the cycle was finished but the dishes had still been properly cleaned. Now I just throw the tablet into the bottom of the dishwasher before I switch it on, it works perfectly.The only drawback for most UK consumers would be that the instructions, description and ingredients info on the cardboard packet are only written in German. Just make sure you buy the 'all in one' product and you'll be fine.

When there is no quinoa left on the plates to recirculate and deposit on the glasses & the dishwasher is loaded properly (a-hem) these tabs have provided us with two months of consistently clean dishes. Our water is slightly hard and one tab in a FULL cycle works well. No toxic odor like the big brands & I don’t feel as if I’m poisoning the family. A box lasts 2 months for us so it’s nice to not have to buy frequently. If tabs aren’t dissolving, as some have mentioned, my two pence on the matter is they’re possibly landing in a bad spot or trapped. In decades of dishwashing I’ve never had better results - not even from Ecover, my favourite brand.

I've been using this dishwater tablets for a while and this is my third box. It doesn't smell like chemical after wash and makes me feel good to use that I'm not polluting the river/sea. And it cleans well like other major brands. I would definitely recommend it.

Great Product but price increased £6 over 4 weeks. Will not buy again until price more reasonable otherwise I would feel exploited. Anyway, I have found another product equally good at a reasonable price.

I know it's hard to review dishwasher tablets but I've used main brand Fairy Liquid Platinum and Aldi own brand. In my view this product is much better. No streaky glasses or issues with cleaning and I mostly do a 35 min quick dishwash.I will confess it took me until I had finished most of the box to realise I didn't need to unwrap the plastic!! I only discovered that when I had wet hands and took one out of the box and the plastic started to disintegrated. I remember thinking when I first got them 'why do they have to put it on plastic as it's such a pain to remove before using them.' Should have used common sense really.I'm about to order my second box - won't be changing to another brand now.Great product.

It's a cheap design, cheap materials but does the job. The real problem is when you try to slip it into the laptop bag - IT doesn't fit! The only way is to slip it in the wrong way so the laptop is sticking out. Shame as it's a great concept.

I had researched a lot of dishwasher tablets before buying these ones and I must say that they have not yet disappointed me. I love the fact that these tablets are friendlier to the nature and to our bodies as they do not leave as many chemicals in the water and on our dishes as some other dishwasher tablets do. I am happy with their performance and they definitely meet our needs. I am sure there are more powerful dishwasher tablets out there but I am just not willing to pay the price.

If your conscience tells you to go green, but the ecological product ranges just don't cut it when you want thorough cleaning, this is worth a try. I mainly switched to Claro because I hate strong fragrance left on my dishes after washing, and Claro, though not labelled fragrance-free, manages to be neutral and still clean very effectively. It's Austrian, has green credentials (vegan and with no palm oil), and if you buy the larger pack sizes it's competitively priced with quality UK products. Recommended.
