I Love Lucy: The Complete Series

I came across the release of my favorite television series, I Love Lucy the Complete Series on blu ray, by pure accident. I've been waiting for over 10+ years for the continuation of the beloved television series to be released on blu ray. I have seasons 1 and 2.My hope is that the dream of having the complete series lives up to my desired expectation, and that the box set will be picture, sound and content perfect. For that is what should be expected with such a classic sitcom!Thank goodness they were filmed on 35 millimeter to preserve the memories for generations to come by a team that created such perfection. Thank you, Desilu!I Can't wait for the November release date.

I was in shock when a fellow cinephile friend messaged me the link to this gorgeous set. I'm just hoping that all of the special features from the dvd set will be ported over. No reason to have both sets. I'm a little disappointed that the actual discs don't feature character art, but I'm guessing they might have had to license the actors likeness for that all over again? I don't care, I'm over the moon with excitement!
