Awesome little knife. Still can't carry it in the UK though.
Superb and useful little knife but in spite of its diminutive size, it is still not a legal knife to carry in the UK.

Great everyday knife for restrictive municipalities
I used to carry a pacific salt every day. It was my favorite knife I ever owned. However, I moved to Boston, where many people fear any knives, and the laws are terribly restrictive to boot (2.5 inch blade length, max).So I set out to start being a law-abiding citizen but still have a blade in my pocket. Boy, was I happy to see that spyderco makes this knife. I had the H1 pacific salt for over 3 years, and got to know the steel pretty well. Initially, it dulls quickly and requires at least monthly sharpening. After about a year, that decreases to once every couple months. I think this is very manageable. I review the steel in depth in the Pacific Salt review I did, so I won't rehash it here. Suffice it to say that H1 is a near-perfect compromise of corrosion resistance and cutting ability. The dragonfly is a compact bundle of function. It fits in the watch pocket of my jeans very comfortably, with or without the pocket clip. It deploys quickly from said pocket, and the oversized thumbhole is operable even with thin gloves. The blade of the dragonfly is also built for pure function. It is decent at piercing, but excels at cutting tasks because of the jimping and profile. But where this knife really shines is its ergonomics.Wow! When you pick up this knife, your hand instinctively encloses the whole knife. It is designed such that your thumb and index fingers hold the metal at the base of the blade. The jimping is just grippy enough to perform perfectly without tearing up fingers. But the best part is how this knife feels. The blade sticks out of your hand as if an extension of your hand. This fact makes the knife well-suited to fine cutting tasks without sacrificing its cutting ability on boxes and the like. The dragonfly accomplishes this by design; it feels like a much bigger blade in your hand than it is.While I cannot say I'm happy about having to shelve my pacific salt, the dragonfly salt is the perfect blade in restrictive municipalities. It has the same steel, attention to detail, workmanship, and ergonomics I have come to expect from spyderco, meaning the only sacrifice I made in the switch to this knife for EDC is blade length. After carrying this knife for about 6 months, I can confidently recommend it to anyone who either lives in a restrictive municipality or prefers to carry smaller pocket knives without sacrificing function.Too many small knives on the market are cheap, flimsy, nonfunctional gimmicks. Do yourself a favor and get this knife, or at the very least check out the rest of the dragonfly line.
