It worked for my on a subconscious level.
I thought it was an interesting read. It is a reiteration of what I have heard and read before, but somehow this one had these tidbits hidden in between that really helped me. I have putting them into practice and do notice a difference.I especially liked the summary at the end and the comparison between Sr. and Jr. There were stats and studies cited in a peppered fashion throughout.I read the book slowly and over weeks here and there on my kindle.Having gone through a lot of family issues, I was burned out... Fast forward to today, I have quit caffeine, am more social, less pessimistic. I drink one glass of water in the mornings now while I sit outside and give myself a pep talk. There are a few others. It seems that I did subconsciously pick up a few tips from this book that I ACTUALLY implemented. For all that, I have to thank the author.I've read many self help books and some are classics, but I never walk away changed. The credit may go to the piecemeal method I used to read this. I did not force myself, schedule a time, or focus 100% on it. Like I mentioned above, I read it here or there, while sitting for even a minute, walking a short distance or even down the stairs.

Joy and energy are maximized when you have desirable goals ...
Joy and energy are maximized when you have desirable goals and move to quickly to it accomplish them. To always have goals; short term, medium and long term to look forward to after the first goal has been reached. I actually thought by the title that this would be a humorous book, but it isn't, in fact every thing he talks about honestly does contribute majorly towards being happy and having lots energy. I can't say that there is an chapter that I don't like, I actually have read quite a few self help books in my quest to start a new career and have found this book to be one of the most helpful. Right now I'm actually going back to read the area on passion and finding your talent. For me this is not a one time read but a book I'll use as a guide and check list. I've also ordered other books that have great reviews that he has written that are featured at the back of this book.

I'd recommend it.
I paid a few dollars for this e-version (I'm most of the way through) and I feel it's worth the price. It can be corny, and in some places the grammar could use some touching up, but overall there are good takeaways. He points out that our productivity is our 'currency' that's how we make a living in this world. Your productivity is a direct result of the amount of personal energy you have. Some of the other reviews look sketchy to me but I'd suggest the book at this price. I felt it is an original and honest effort to convey information and not just sell an online book. I reduced one star (to four) because of grammar in some areas - not unreadable but noticeable.

Great book for Lazy People
This book right here is excellent for people that can't manage to get fairly any energy from there body to do anything. This book is great on explaining how to practice morning routines, exercise , how to lose weight , because all these things come in to play when you lack energy . Great book to better your state of health in general. I would recommend this book to people that feel like they don't have that motivation to do the stuff they need to do or just for your health's sake . Get this book now .

Quick smart read!
At first I was confused by the reviews but decided to purchase the book anyway. Its a great, right on point book for anyone that needs a reminder how to be more energetic, enthusiastic, positive, etc. It does not go on telling irrelevant stories so that there are more pages, it focuses on the facts and gives valuable advice!

You know this
Book was okay. He must not be a native English speaker but the book is clear and easy to read. There won't be anything in here you dont know but if hearing it again is motivating, this book will help you

Small book, refreshing read
This book is a quick read – about 80 pages can be done in one session, the central message being that happiness is generate partly by setting goals (and achieving them), while the remaining part is showing how to achieve more goals – by having enough energy to do so. While most of the information presented is known to (mostly) all of us, the way these are presented is quite refreshing and in a positive way kind of contagious, in a motivating way. While I generally agree with all the data shown, I kind of struggle with the pH-value thinking of foods, acidic foods being bad, alcaline ones being good. (Being a chemist myself) I know some food with a low pH value (ranging below 4) which are considered healthy, look at lemons or oranges for example, but this does not contradict the general info, to eat healthy and care about your sleeping routine. In addition to that, not only caring about your body, but also your mind and should like setting yourself into a positive mindset and practicing this routinely, helps for sure.I especially liked the „100 smiles rule“ or the small exercises which have been inserted between the chapters, all in all this reads like a note list the author did for himself, is less „academic“ like other literature I read in the past, this is kind of charming and refreshing, but I am deducting one star for the non existent source or note section, this would be helpful for further reads, esp. as the author added several famous citations, so he must have had the original sources at hand. I'd recommend this book, you might not find „insane“ energy levels, but it helps for sure to improve yourself.

Oh really?
I have to agree with a fellow uk reviewer that the referenced statistics sound dubious. You cannot just say according to a study by the Bob Mortimer University or whatever. Since the author is tossing around terms such as “scientifically proven” and ”10 years of research” then I expect a bibliography from somebody with a top degree who should know better. I did doubt the European Social Survey was real but found an opposite conclusion to what he stated after trawling through this massive report. I have just finished reading another of his books, which I thought was exceptionally good, so I am not being spiteful. I just found it too annoying to read. If you are able to suspend your disbelief, then the methods sound plausible, so it is fine for other people to like the book.

Sehr enttäuschend - nichts Neues
Ich fand das Buch extrem enttäuschend. Sehr flacher Inhalt. Absolut keine neuen Impulse.

Catchy title, sadly no substance
The author seems to have mastered the art of click bait. I was one of the suckers who fell for it. Instead of something insightful, I found “go enough sleep”, “eat your food on time”, and other puerile stuff. This short book is rubbish. Don’t be a sucker. Or be one, if you enjoy being schmucked.
