the display quality and the accuracy are both perfect
The performance is excellent. The built in rechargeable battery lasts at least 24 hours for use anywhere. It would be nice to see an IOS compatible upgrade and wifi upgrade but at this price the product is worth the cost.

Very, very educational -- possibly life changing
My original intention was to buy a wifi connected device that I could monitor on my phone or whatever. I bought this JUST because of price. It's awesome. There is NO NEED for wifi monitoring. Basically you use this for a week and then you know what to do.I used this at my house, my parents house and a friend's house and all of us have changed our behavior and ventilation. It's pretty disturbing how high the CO2 levels were getting, but with small changes things can be completely fixed. To give an example, I often left a window open a small amount in our bedroom -- I didn't know until I got this that it wasn't working. But then... just by opening the window a few inches more, it worked great. We have a gas stove/oven I guess I should have known, but turning on a burner, our rates would go up... put in some cross ventilation and it's fine.... But you don't really know until you see it. Certainly you can't convince others until you leave this with them for a few days, and then it's like "WOW!"I've taken it on a plane. In the car (it's stopped me from using the the recirculating feature on the AC).... It's totally worth it and I'm glad I got this one. They have good customer service when I got confused about something (basically it got miscalibrated when I took it on a plane flight... but you set it outside and recalibrate it and then it's fine).I can't say whether the numbers I'm getting are perfectly accurate, however, after using mine, my parents bought one and they are basically consistent with each other. More importantly, the TREND makes sense... And that's more than enough to make better decisions. It allows you to datalog your readings and export them to a spreadsheet. It's not a pretty interface, it looks like it's 20 years old, but it works perfectly and immediately.... The battery works long enough.... I think it's too bright in my bedroom, but I just put it upside down when I was using it (the openings are on the back).Once you've used this for a couple weeks, you don't definitely need to keep it on all the time.... or maybe ever even use it again for that location. Maybe with changing seasons? I'm not going to sell it, but I'm not using it anymore in our house.Travel... I've taken it into hotel rooms, and that's been helpful. Some are fine, some you really need to keep the bathroom fan on and crack a window.I'll keep loaning it to friends. I'm REALLY glad I bought it even though I don't use it in my house now because I know what's going to happen. We were shocked at how often we were in unhealthy territory (and then pleasantly surprised at how we could fix it!)I don't have any complaints about this and I feel it was well worth the money just in terms of IQ points if the studies on how bad CO2 is for you are to be believed.

Expensive toy
I was fairly happy with the accuracy, measuring about 420 or so outside (in a city), but when it rained it measured as low as 260. I think that it's not super accurate when humidity is very high. The battery lasts pretty much all day. The display always defaults to Celsius, which gets annoying. I haven't tried the software yet. It's shown me that my room can reach up to 3000ppm CO2 with the window and door closed.

Inaccurate
Readings are wildly wrong.

Great, sleek monitor with highly customizable recordings
I like meters, and this one is really nicely designed for the price. The screen is simple and displays the most important numbers clearly. It's got two air intake vents on the back, and is pretty sensitive. Just having it in arms reach shoots the number up due to breathing. I got believable numbers at work and at home, and now I'm setting up for my first day-long recording. The software allows you to set the sampling frequency, and the memory can hold up to 12700 points. That's 8+ days at once/min, or 3.5hr at once/sec. It can also do once an hour. Recordings can be reset on site with a button on the unit. You can export the time series for CO2, temperature, and humidity by connecting it via the included USB to your computer. You can also set default units, and upper & lower alarm limits for the three readings.Overall I'm pretty excited to see how stuffy my apartment rooms get throughout the day/night, and add some plants or improve ventilation until I'm in that nice <1000 ppm zone. The only gripe I have with this thing is the stand, so for now I stuck a pen on the legs to stabilize it (see pic). The screen is acrylic and would probably scratch, but that's not an issue for me. I'm happy and recommend it!

Reasonably good with some annoyances
Overall, this unit is well assembled and packaged. The stand works but some extra weight to stabilize the meter would have been nice. The USB cable (for power via supplied AC adapter) is short at around 3 feet. The CO2 readings seem plausible and the trends are correct. Temperature and humidity readings seem approximately correct. However, the temperature is slow to respond (almost annoyingly slow) which can make comparisons to other thermometers difficult. When this unit is viewed at looking downwards, at a 30-45 degree angle from the horizontal, the display is well illuminated, but the display is not nearly as bright when looking at the unit horizontally. Overall, a reasonably good unit for the price. However, there are some disappointments. The settings (including Celsius/Fahrenheit, alarm threshold, alarm on) are not stored when the unit is off. This situation wouldn't be bad (as the unit can be powered from the battery) except calibration requires the unit to be powered off. Also, I found the unit was not well calibrated from the factory. Calibration is fairly simple but can be tricky to initiate. For Linux users, I had no luck communicating with this unit via CO2Meter's software when using WINE — disappointing, but not unexpected.
