Much appreciated.** A: Between 52"-53" inside. **Q: It says "hard case" but is it really that hard? Will it stand up to being thrown around and being at the bottom of a suitcase pile?** A: It's a very lightweight case, which is concerning, but really tough. There's thin foam padding and a strap on the inside, so clubs stay secure, and after two legs on a flight, it didn't have a scratch on it. Worth it. **Q: How much does the case weigh?** A: I believe my luggage scale is relatively accurate, and it reads the case weighs 15.2 lbs.. **Q: Is this case allowed in United airlines without having to pay extra ?** A: Here is a link that lists many if not all Airlines and their policies on traveling with clubs. It served me well for a year & a half, ~8 flights & 20 events getting tossed, dragged, & shuffled around. A year & a half doesn't sound like long but it is quite long for what I put it through. This was worth the $200 I paid for it at the time. Zipper never broke, the casing never so much as cracked.
