Super sturdy and strong!
I use this to adhere all sorts of things that I dont want to move. The tape is SUPER sticky and pretty strong. I would not recommend using on any material you dont want possibly coming up. Sticks to just about anything, however if it's dirty, dusty, or a velvet like material, dont' expect it to stick very well. As long as you're applying common sense to the use of this tape you should be pretty good! Great tape, I will make sure to always have this tape in stock!

It is Extremely Sticky & Likes itself š
I havenāt used this on the area rug which will be on carpet yet ... but it is a Mess to get off the roll. Very Very Sticky & sticks to itself .. and U have NO idea what to use to cut it with ?!??? I have placed a small piece in a xtra piece of carpet that I folded over on the tape & an walking on it - & after a week or so I will try taking it off & see what it does to the floor carpet. Assuming it doesnāt destroy the fibers or leave a residue (it says it does not) then I willTry my hand at finding a way to cut it & apply without it sticking to itself. I wasted a LOT just trying to get the tape from the blue covering & then it kept sticking to itself - & never found anything that worked smoothly to cut it with. Grrrrrrrr. I will add to this review when & if I give it a try ... or send back??/// I have put a few pieces of the tape on the area rug which sits on carpeting. It is holding very well, & I will soon be moving the couches & coffee table that sits on the area rug off and place the tape on over the areas that need it. No doubt the manufacturer knows how difficult it is to remove the Blue covering. Iād like to see this company read the reviews & work on this problem. Everyone seems to have issues āitās not only wasteful, but frustrating! I read reviews on Seversl (Lots!) of other carpet tapes & the complaints were equally bad. I guess being among all the others is not bad, but itās not good either! Everyone I read I HATED for that reason! I eventually write to the Manufacturer & got their promise that it would not ruin the carpet or area rug when removed, & but the bullet & bought it. BUT, I really HATE having to work with it! HATE is a Strong word, but thatās how Irritating it Iād to work with ā- which is Why itās taking me so long to put it on. A good product, but, a pain to use! This company needs to get its R&DBusy working on a different way to get thevtsoe off the blue tape & actually on the rug beforeIt turns into one huge crumpled up glob of tape that once You get it off Your hands -it goes in the trash, along with all the other crumpled wads of tape.Iād recommend this product if You enjoy being frustrated & donāt mind throwing Your money away & have the patience of a Saint š

As I had 14 treads to adhere carpet strips to I needed to get past the disengaging the blue protective tape from the adhesive tape. Seller's instructions I think not really helpful so after the first few tries I figured this out: As you peel the blue tape back to your desired length of sticky cut the sticky so that a flap of blue remains free which can be taken hold of as you start to remove it from the sticky. Make sure this is repeated each time and the process is vastly speeded up. I would think if a really long run of this stuff is required you might be better off doing it in a series of shorter runs using the above method. And needless to say when done with the current task make sure a little blue s left longer than the sticky. At any rate the stair carpet strips are now staying nice and even up the stairs - which was the whole point of this thing - and this tape seems like it should continue to perform. At least with the tape I have avoided putting tack holes in the wood treads, which would be harded to deal with than removing sticky stuff.

Don't cut the vinyl coating when finished with each pass.
I had a very difficult time peeling away the tape from the vinyl coating, i.e., the blue part. Once I did, I accidentally cut the tape and the blue part at the same time. So I had to start over by peeling the blue part away from the tape. once there and figuring that part out I thought the best way for me to remember was "cut the tape not the blue part" LOL, anyway great product.

strong tape, but hard to remove backing
I use this tape to attach a rug to a rug. This tape is better than the other two tapes I've used, the rug on top stays put, no slippage whatsoever! This part I love since the rugs are at the kitchen sink and it is a very high traffic area.Just wish the backing wasn't such a bugger to get off, but I guess I am reaping the awards with this great sticking double sided tape.

Great product!
This did exactly what I was hoping for it to do. Itās holding down area rugs on laminate flooring very well, while at the same time, Iāve noticed the tape can be removed from the laminate fairly easily without damaging the flooring. The only reason I didnāt give this product 5 stars is because it is a bit difficult to separate the blue lining from the tape.
