I kept using the leather case I bought at the Apple Store even tho it was worn out. Finally I broke down and bought this one, which was half the price and twice as good. The Apple case was slick leather; this is pebbly and gives a nice grip when you're holding it. Five stars.

It was a great case. A little too smooth for my hands. I was in a, let's cut out the whole circle around the magnets phase for use with (redacted as it involves mentioning another product which is probably what got my other reviews unable to post) but it ended up not as clean as I would have wanted and tore the leather a bit.

I literally have to use my fingernail to press the button down, not just the tip of my finger. That said…Fantastic case otherwise! Metal buttons are smooth and exact, leather texture is a little more raised (bumpier) than expected, but nice. To the touch it has a rougher feel than the old Apple leather cases. So it might not be as nice depending on your sense of luxury. That said, it has excellent grip.Would I recommend it? Sure. I just wish it had a button for the new camera control button.

I am so glad I ordered this case. The design is perfect, the fit is perfect, easy to put on and easy to remove, great quality of leather and worth the price. I would highly recommend this case.

Do not buy , fake leather , any kind of scuff or light damage “leather peels” and feels fake and nothing like “the genuine leather” that is claimed in the product description. If I had the original packaging I would return unfortunately I’m stuck with this .

This case is built exceptionally well. A lot of thought must have went into the contours of the case. It feels very comfortable in the hand. The buttons stick out just enough. I can understand why there’s not a button sticking out for the camera. I have enough photos of my pocket as is. Great case. Enough to get me to actually take the time to write a five star review, which is no small feat

I’ve never been so dissatisfied with a case than this one. All I wanted was a nice leather case that protects the area around the new camera control button (which is so pointless but that’s another story), and although this case does that, it falls short on everything else. The “leather” (if it really is at all) feels cheap and slippery. The plastic ring around the camera hole sounds awful and cheap when you place your phone on a table. The case is too snug and is a pain to put on and take off, feeling like it’ll scratch your phone. The buttons aren’t as good as they could be. And even the box it comes in isn’t sealed. All this for $35?? You have to be off your rockers.
