Must have..
To begin, I’ve been partial to Viridian for about 15 years. In my opinion, green lasers/dots are profoundly better than red. The laser is crisp and clear, easy to sight in as well. The flashlight combo will get your point across immediately. The ability to charge while mounted is ingenious. It mounts quickly and fits Smith and Wesson and Glock rails. I highly recommend!

better than expected
have had a couple streamlight red lasers with lights. not bad at all but wanted green to go on new tx22. broad daylight use requires green. I was surprised at how effective it was and that it sighted in fine after realizing that the direction indicated for adjustments on the sight are completely backwards. - the quality of material stands out with solid metal and secure attachment. laser has held sight on perfectly after a couple thousand rounds. - The charging system is out of this world and extremely user friendly. not a cheap product but very much worth every penny.

Bright laser for CCW
The Viridian Universal C5L Laser comes in two options. One with green laser and tactical flashlight, and one with just the laser and no flashlight. I chose the laser only option. The unit comes well packaged in a box in which the laser and accessories are embedded in Styrofoam to prevent shipping damage. The laser is designed to attach to standard pistol pic rails, and comes with instructions, laser adjustment wrench, and battery charging unit with necessary cables. Once charged, I have found the laser to be usable for a period of weeks prior to need to recharge. Naturally, this depends upon how often you activate the laser and how long you leave it on. If you are using this for CCW, the only necessity required is having a holster that is designed for your specific model of pistol, to include this specific laser. Viridian sells holsters that are designed for use with their lasers, however, depending on what model of pistol you own, you might find it very hard to find the correct holster. As an example, I could not find a holster for my Glock 23 that will accommodate this laser.

Light and laser
Love this new addition to my firearm. Tho I did not like the original one I ordered for my EDC, seemed a bit bulky for the compact size to carry on. The manufacturer was more than happy to swap out for the bigger frame weapon I preferred to make use of. Great fit, looks nice, very practical light and laser & quality. Good value when purchased thru from Amazon.

I love this!
Fits perfect, works great. Be prepared to spend some bucks on a custom holster if you don’t have a Glock 17 or 19.

Multiple ones not working!
I normally don't like leaving bad reviews but these things seem to be junk, or the seller is selling defective units! Bought one and the battery was junk and wouldn't hold a charge! Listed as new but showed wear and looked used. Ordered a replacement and one the new one the sight alignment screw doesn't work! doesn't matter what way you turn it, nothing happens and the sight is way off with no way to be corrected. Not sure if I should replace it again or just get my money back. After reading the good reviews I'm extremely disappointed in these. So far they seem like garbage and a complete waste of money!!

Bright, build is decent. Doesn’t hold settings
Decided to keep this one because the build seems sturdy, the adjustments are reliable in response, the lighting is brilliant, laser is green, and the price was the best. It holds my PX4 full size just fine, but be aware it will not hug the trigger guard if you want it to. I had the Streamlight TLR8 which the windage screw wouldn’t respond after elevation screw was adjusted. I had a replacement unit sent to me and the new Streamlight did the same thing again, so I would steer clear of them. Thankfully this unit’s elevation and windage screws are responsive! Really love the price I snagged this for, which was less than $200 for a green laser and light combo with high lumens. On to what I don’t like: no burst of light. I don’t want the light to just turn on and off, but would like the option for a quick check in case I need to quickly move and not reveal my new location. When tightening, I noticed my rail getting damaged, however, I think this is an industry issue and all will do it. The only reason I am mentioning it here is the damage seems more extensive, but I could be wrong because it is a smaller rail holding unit compared to the aforementioned Streamlight which took up most of the rail’s real estate. The looks aren’t great, either. Too rigid in my opinion. This next one is a doozy though - it will not hold settings after shots. My unit’s laser would move after a single shot. Not a lot, but at the end of a 10 round mag, I wouldn’t trust it. I’ve heard all lasers are the same, so I don’t really know. This isn’t too much of a problem for me as I figure if I don’t solve my issue in a full mag, well, it’s game over for me or the invader(s), so I’ll accept it and shoot it more often to see it’s tendencies (does it move sideways, up and down, both?). This is my home defense pistol, paired with a home defense shotgun and I will probably not be holding my second magazine when sitting in my situation room waiting for the police since I always sleep pants-less and can’t hold both a shotgun, pistol and extra mag with two hands. I wish this weren’t the case, but it just seems like light and laser combos is an area lacking attention from manufacturers at a decent price point ($150-250).The things I don’t really care about is the auto feature of on-off with a holster. I can’t think of a situation where non-LEs would want this and the charging. The charging could be considered a negative, but hey, it’s a free battery pack to charge my devices lol. Again, for a Joe Schmoe like me, I’m not gonna be charging this very often and when I do, it’ll be when I’m cleaning the gun, so the slide and barrel system will be unattached and I can leave the grip by itself near the wall, but I can see the need for it for those who are working at night frequently and don’t leave their weapon in the open like a responsible person should.I give this a 3 star. Nothing to write home about for me personally. I would have bumped this to a 5 star if the unit kept its setting. That’s the main factor as I am a function over form person with my weapons. Maybe I got a bad unit?

Good lazer + light
I like how bright it is, and the lazer is great, I have yet to try it at the range yet.
