A Bit Disappointing - Needs More Attention from the Author
On the positive side, this is an enthusiastic, attractive text with useful pictures and pointers.Requiring improvement is that there are editorial changes needed to move an image that says “20 lessons” that covers half of the first page. Also the various tables (and there are a lot of them) break in an inconvenient way across pages - some thought required as to how to present them more effectively. On the negative side:• First of all, there is no Arabic text, only Latin text. Addition of the words in Arabic text would not appear to represent a large additional effort, but would make the text more complete.• Secondly the content is a bit on the thin side. More content and a meatier presentation would have been desirable. In summary, I have the impression of this being part of a production line of work that has been put up for sale before it has been fully completed, debugged, and edited for best effect and full value. I note that this is part of a series of 20/24/30/nnn lessons that Mohamed Bacha has produced. I my view, Mohammed should concentrate on one formula and do a really good job of it rather than a range of slightly different alternatives of rather disappointing overall quality. Finally, it is very welcome to see resources for learning Tunisian Arabic. I hope that the quality will improveI do not recommend purchase before this book has been revised and improved.

While I am happy to have found this book...
There are many small mistakes in the book. It is very easy for me to confuse the derja I have learned with the Fus7a I learned in college, hopefully this will help prevent that and help keep derja fresh in my mind while I am away from Tunisia.

It was okay
This is a lot smaller than I thought it was going to be. It's okay. Very useful but I'm not sure I would have paid $20 for it.

Good book but no Arabic script
I just wish it had an introduction to Arabic script as well.

Two Stars
unimaginative layout which is a bit confusing... not a logical book, sadly.

bad reading format.
No arabic script. English (text) arabic format is horrible to read. Most symbols don't make sense at all. A lot of words are not Tunisian.

Expected a bit more 'book' for the money so found it to be very expensive for the amount of content. Also if I didn't have a basic knowledge of Egyptian and modern standard arabic, I would not have been able to work out the pronunciation from the explanation given
