So fun
The media could not be loaded. Used it in the Bahamas and my husband loved it! Pretty speedy, battery lasts approx an 2 hours on a full charge, easy to use. Money well spent!

Surprisingly powerful and tons of fun in a compact package!
The media could not be loaded. I'll admit, when I first pulled this water scooter out of the box my initial thought was "is this it?". It fits in a case the size of a lunch box and I currently weigh 187 lbs so I had very low expectations that this tiny little thing was going to be able to tow me through the water at all. It's heavy and solid and feels well built but it just didn't seem big enough to do much. I was very wrong. This thing zips!Everything is packaged in a nice semi-rigid case that has indentations for all the components. The battery detaches for storage in the case and easily snaps on securely with two strong metal clips on the side. The entire thing has a nice anodized coating on it that looks great and will hopefully keep corrosion down. There isn't a lot to the scooter itself. It's basically just a big battery attached to a motor and impeller (propeller?) unit with handles on either side and a trigger. That's it. It's heavy but it feels solid and well built. The battery attaches securely and stays in place. You have to remove the battery to charge it separately from the scooter and the charge port has a rubber cover on it to keep moisture out. There's also a gasket around where the battery attaches to the main unit and they even give you extra gaskets in the package, which I really appreciated.Once you charge the battery and clip it in place, the scooter is ready to go. You long press the power button to turn it on and then short press it to advance through the 3 different modes (speeds). Pulling the trigger turns on the motor, which is surprisingly quiet. You also get a few accessories like a go pro mount, a wrist strap and threaded loop mount as well as a wrench and charger. The first time I took it down to the water, like I said, I wasn't expecting much. When I first submerged it and pulled the trigger I was pleasantly surprised at how much thrust it had, even in the low setting. In the highest setting (S+) it wants to pull out of your hands and pushes some serious water! On the lowest setting (normal) it moves me through the water at a casual walking pace. In Sport mode you can feel it pulling a little harder and moves at the speed of a fast walk. In S+, the fastest setting, you really feel the power. The instructions say it can move at 2 meters/second and I believe that's accurate. It's definitely got some zip.Using this thing in the water is an absolute blast. It's heavy and doesn't have any sort of buoyancy to it so you definitely need the wrist strap when you're in deeper water. I found out the hard way that if you have the wrist strap mounted underneath it, it can get sucked into the prop and stop the motor and chew up the string, so I moved it to the upper handle instead. The handles are very comfortable to hold and have a rubber texture so it's easy to keep a good grip on it, even under water. The throttle trigger is large and very easy to pull, but it has just enough tension on it so you're not accidentally going full throttle if you don't want to. It's got surprisingly good control. The real fun for me is going wide open on the throttle in S+ mode. It's not jet ski speeds or anything but when you're snorkeling or even just holding your breath and diving under the water, it's a ton of fun to glide along the bottom effortlessly. Once you figure out how to use the thrust to steer you can turn the thing in sharp turns and it sorta feels like flying in slow motion. It's very satisfying and super fun.Overall I can't say enough good things about this little scooter. Using it in S+ mode at full throttle gets me about 12-15 minutes of use per charge dot (4 dots, each = 25% battery). That varies and I get way more battery life at slower speeds if I want to just casually cruise around but the S+ is the most fun in my opinion. This thing is a bit pricey at $649 at the time of this review but in my opinion, that's actually a really good value. It's well built, has great battery life and effortlessly pulls me through the water at a surprising clip. It's a super fun water toy and I'm a huge fan. I would definitely recommend this K5 scooter.

Perfect Sea Scooter
We brought this sea scooter along for a weekend getaway, and it was a great addition to our trip. We used it at a beautiful beach on the East Coast. The build quality was impressive, and the speed control was straightforward, making it easy to navigate through the waves. The removable battery charged quickly, which was perfect for our various water activities. It handled well in both the shallow surf and deeper waters. The included accessories allowed us to easily mount a GoPro, capturing some great footage of our adventures. Its compact design made packing easy, and the tool-free assembly meant we spent more time enjoying the beach and less time setting up.
