I have a laptop that has a dedicated graphics card along with an i7 and this is used for a lot of video editing, photoshop work and music production and gets rather hot as a result.This cooler has been great, the ability to just push the off button and still have the extra usb port is great for doing menial tasks like web browsing and I can also turn on the fans when I'm doing something intensive.I ran heavyload (a software that basically just stresstests) and got cpu package temps of 78-80 celsius on my cpu and 60-68 on my gpu prior to the cooler. Last night I ran heavy load with this cooler on max power and 6 fan mode and those temperatures came down to 65 - 70 for the cpu and not even over 55 on the gpu! Very impressed!Features:- Screen- 3 different fan modes (2 center fans, 4 outer fans or all 6 fans)- 4 power modes from 1 - 4 increasing speed and its even quiet at 6 fans on speed 4- LED fans (doesn't really matter to me but might to you)- 7 slots for adjustable tilt WITH a little plastic foldout tab to keep laptop in place. As opposed to those cheap little foam pads most other companies useAll in all although its a little more expensive than some other options. - I've gone through a lot of coolers in the last fews years and this one definitely out performs them.Great buy!

Ordered this cooling pad for my Alienware r17 and unfortunately seems to be smaller than I imagined.Been quiet for a couple of days then it started to have a squeak (probably one of the fans not that quiet). Had to order a different brand. Design-wise is ok just need to adjust the angle of inclination both sides at the same time or laptop may be tipped off.
