Fast delivery, easy to use and it works.
The item arrived within one day of ordering and was well packaged with clear instructions on installation and use of the air-con unit. The mains cable is shorter than expected and the exhaust hose would ideally be slightly longer as we have top vent windows. The window kit is also useful with a zip to put the exhaust hose through and plenty of Velcro strip to attach the plastic sheet. The air-con on the low and cool setting was efficient at bringing the temperature of a bedroom down from 78c to 70c within 20 mins, it’d probably be faster on medium or high settings but not so economical. I’ve not used the timer, dry mode or fan and it’s worth noting that batteries for the remote are not supplied. The unit is quite noisy however , it’s not an unpleasant sound and blocks out any noise from outside. The unit doesn’t vibrate on a wooden floor and appears sturdy and well made. It’s not the cheapest or quietest air-con but it does work very well provided that your room is within the limits specified and keeping the unit on a low setting helps to keep electric costs down. Depending upon how it’s used I’ve estimated it costs about 30-35p per hour on low , cool setting used a few hours a day.Overall, I’m very happy with the unit.

A great AC unit!
I did so much research and read so many reviews before making my purchase so hope this helps others when deciding on which portable air conditioning unit to buy. In the midst of a current heatwave I have now been able to try this unit out and can comment on how effective it is, so here goes:- it came well boxed and wrapped, it is heavy but once inside and opened up the instructions were fairly straight forward for assembly. I have windows which conventionally open outwards (rather than sash or tilt openings) so I haven’t fitted the window guard for holding the hose in place, I just hang the hose out of the opened window and pull the blind and curtains down and across which is fine. The unit makes about as much noise as a powerful tower or pedestal fan. I have a big bedroom (about the size of a double garage) and this unit chills the room to a comfortable temperature within 30 mins, outside temperature has been around 29-33c, the rest of the house inside was around 26-27c. This has been a godsend, I am so happy I made this purchase, it has meant we can sleep in comfort and coolness. I haven’t tried out the sleep mode yet, I have figured out how to set it so will have to have another look, however I have used the timer and tend to set it to run for about 2-3 hours, if we find the room starts to get warm again after that then we have just put the fan on. The unit is on wheels so can be moved around, (a bit hard on carpet but fine on laminate flooring). The only thing is after our first night of using we woke to find the kids had dragged their mattresses into our room! Now we know how great this unit is, I think we will be buying a couple more for their bedrooms.

Great product
Works great. I have kept it on for long periods and it works great. A bit noisy though but in a positive way as it drowns the noise from outside. On the negative side, although It keeps the room cold but once it’s turned off, the room quickly returns to its original temperature which means this unit needs to be constantly on to maintain the coolness. Overall, it’s worth the money and I have recommended it to friends and families.

Totally worth it!
This is such a brilliant buy, I cannot imagine money better spent for a summer!!! Last summer was a nightmare for us living in a flat which traps heat and doesn't have the best ventilation. I was dreading this summer but once I have seen this Air Conditioner in action, all my fears have been put to bed. It cools our entire living room within minutes and makes it so pleasant. It was almost too easy to set up, even a kid can do it. The noise level is absolutely manageable for the great job it does! I needed the sliding window set up which wasn't available as a default. But the seller was so helpful when I called and they said they'll send them to me at such a nominal cost. Overall, it's the best air conditioner you can buy for quality as well as service. If there's any issues in future I sure will update. But for now, I'm one happy camper!

Chills the room.
The media could not be loaded. I’ve had this air conditioner for around a month. I’ve used it almost every night (because I love going to sleep in the cold). The unit completely displaces the heat and humidity of our main bedroom, which gets the sun from midday to sunset. Usually the room maintains the heat and previously, fans have just circulated warm air. This unit completely displaces the heat after around 20 mins of running on medium setting. I walk back into the room and it’s cold. The unit is a little louder than our previous fan but if you’re smart with timings, you can get the room cold and then turn the unit off for the night. Personally, I can keep it running as the noise is consistent and almost has that “white noise” effect. For size reference, the room I am cooling is around 20ft x 12ft x 10ft. I haven’t tried to cool the whole 1st floor (by leaving the doors open) but have read that it’s capable. I think, doors open and windows closed, this unit could probably cool a 3-bed 1st floor after an hour or so run-time.I will be sleeping comfortably this summer. :)

Excellent
First off. The window vent kit is a lot more practical, simple and durable than others I've seen. I haven't installed it yet, though judging by yhe quality of the velcro I am hoping it will be a breeze. The unit is sleek and slim but packs a punch. A little noisy but I don't mind that at night. The duct fits easily onto the unit. I bought an extender so I can move it about without too much hassle.Bring on the hot weather.
