I’ve been wanting to try my hand at sourdough for a while, so when I saw the Casa Crest Sourdough Bread Baking Kit, I had to grab it! This kit is seriously complete, with all the essentials plus a few extras that I didn’t even realize I’d need. It comes with two proofing baskets (a round and an oval one), a bread lame with extra blades, two scrapers, a whisk, a silicone brush, and more. Everything seems to be really well-made, and the rattan on the baskets is super smooth—no splinters here!What I really love is the included recipe book! As someone who’s new to sourdough, I’m excited to have step-by-step recipes and tips to help me get started. I’ve always thought sourdough seemed a bit intimidating, but this kit has everything laid out so well that I actually feel prepared.I haven’t baked with it yet, but I’m looking forward to testing out my first loaf soon. The tools and quality of this kit have already impressed me, and I can’t wait to share the results with family and friends. Highly recommend this for anyone who’s just starting out with sourdough or even seasoned bakers wanting a complete kit.

I really liked this product. It is very easy and practical to use. My daughter has food allergies so I bake her own bread at home. And I really liked the kit, it comes with all the necessary accessories. I only give it 4 stars because of the strange smell in the baskets, like a chemist. I left them outside for a whole day in the sun and that's how the smell went away.

I didn't receive a recipe book with this purchase. The box I received didn't even mention a recipe book. I had to double check the link of my purchase, and it definitely says I should have received a recipe book. Both proofing baskets were not good quality. On the box it mentions the baskets would be splinter and crack free. Immediately after taking the baskets from the box, I noticed both were splintering in multiple places. The staples in the baskets weren't uniform. At the top of one of the baskets, where the design ends it was very cracked and didn't look at smooth as the other. Even the cloth liners for the baskets were not of good quality.Now on to what I actually liked about this purchase. I liked the silicone brush it came with. I liked the plastic dough scrapper. The handle of the stainless-steel scrapper was very nice, I'm excited to use it. The lame and the whisk both look like they are going to help with my sourdough journey.

Perfect set for sourdough. Baskets and liners are sturdy and good quality. Comes with tools and a recipe book as well. Great for gift giving.

I am so excited to use this. I make a lot of bread but have never tried to make sour dough but this seems like the perfect starter kit ! It has all of the pieces with it and even comes with a book of recipes to try! Looking forward to using this for a long time

Our family sourdough enthusiast appreciated receiving this set to expand her capabilities in bread-making. Each item seems to be well crafted and the set includes different use options. It appears to be American-made, which is rare. She loved the two different shapes of proofing baskets to give a couple of options.

Bread whisk was really sturdy and high quality. The knife was not as sharp as it could be. A little bit hard to clean the cloth liners on the inside of the bowls. But a nice complete set for the price !

Baskets are stapled together top rim not smooth. not what I expected returning item
