Works, Vol. 1

I had this album during the mid 80'. I forgot how good it was. If you like Classical, Jazz, Psychedelic and Progressive rock, you will be well served by this album. Nothing that good ever happened after 2000.

VERY MUCH LIKED

The last great ELP album. It covers the expanse of musical styles that made ELP progressive rock stalwarts: classical, jazz, and electronic. Fanfare the Common Man has become a standard. Pirates is one of my favorites of theirs. They would record more albums, but styles changed and the released things for purely contractual reasons. You will dig this.

Music soothes the soul

Works has a wide range of great music, I play it while I write. KE 1st Impression concerto is excellent and the Greg Lake songs are awesome, especially cest le vie and closer to believing. If you want to hear some timeless music, this ELP is perfect.

Very Good Vinyl and best so his ces’t La vie

Bad advertisement got me to buy this as the remastered newer release, when it was in fact just another copy of the set I bought when it originally came out. It pays to verify such information. I was too lazy to return it and just re-gifted it to someone else.

Bin mit ELP gross geworden, dann erstmal aus dem Blick verloren und jetzt wiederentdeckt. Sehr gute anspruchsvolle Musik mit Lust vorgetragen. Klasse!
