Get a size bigger than you think your dog is. The medium is for a pretty small dog 20lb or so. You can put it on with the slick side out for waterproof, and it is not tight around the neck. I like the elastic on the bottom, so it doesn't pick up the snow clumps under the belly. Easy to put on (if your dog is inclined to let you, which mine is). But if you have a picky dog, it may take some getting used to. Washes up nicely.

Finding something small enough for my tiny Maxwell is a chore. This jacket almost fits the bill in that it doesn't swallow him whole, however it's short and only covers about 2/3 of his torso.It does feel warm and I will use it on freezing days while I keep looking for another

Quality seems to be okay but sizes are off, I ordered a large for my 35 pounds Aussie and it’s very small for like a chihuahua, Size twice up if you want to get the right size

Good product that seems to have been made with care. I like the fact you do not have to pick the dogs legs up to slide through as there are two Velcro sleeves. The sizing is off. Whatever size you think you need, get it 1 size up minimum. From an insulation perspective, this is not for heavy cold. More medium isolation which for myself in the gulf coast, makes perfect sense. Northern states where snow could be an issue, would suggest other products.
