BrosTrend 5Gb PCIe Network Card for PC Windows 11/10, Windows Server 2022

I work in network engineering and I test communication devices extensively. I am QUITE impressed by the data loads this unit can handle and deliver. 100% a Good Purchase, and most important, read the fine print, is the Lifetime Warranty. This thing is a Realtek chipset, which is as reliable and as vast as intel chipsets. over the Intel version this was 39% faster than the intel in gaming and streaming and backward compatible. They include a mini-cd, but who uses them anymore? Anyhoo... easy to install, OS recognition is based and website updates easy. Best Bang for the Buck. I will be testing future models from this company brand. It is a SOLID BUY and flexible for the $$$.

Works great so far. Brought my aging MSI X570 Gaming Edge up from 1 gigabit and now I see my full 2 gigabit internet. No issues at all so far. Bought this to get full bandwidth to my router and fiber internet as well as future proof my rig for any future network upgrades in my house. Easy install and setup. Driver install was simple and straight forward. I like the low profile to assist with fit and aesthetics.

Great start with this little card. Just with the hardware install I was getting about 2.4Gb down and 1.4Gb up. Went to the website and downloaded the driver and after the update it got me 4.6Gb down and 2Gb up. The upload started strong at over 4 but trickled off. Either way it is more than enough!

I upgraded my network from AT&T 1 gig fiber to GFiber 3 gig, but my network card also needed to be upgraded to be able to enjoy the faster upload & download speeds. This card works great. Easy to install, plug n’ play. Windows 11. Dell desktop.

This RTL8126-based card has worked quite well for me when negotiating speeds for 1000baseT and 5000Base-T but not 2500Base-T. This was with two different drivers (base and RealTek's) on FreeBSD and the driver on Linux. It may work on Windows, but I do not have Windows. It probably has to do with the revision of the card that I received. It happens to be a newer revision, 0x64a00000. Since I bought three of them that all exhibit the same problem, I strongly doubt it is just a bad NIC. Hopefully, the drivers will get a fix for this someday. On the bright side, this NIC connects at the other speeds and works great at those speeds. They draw little power, and therefore produce little heat, compared to a multi-port card. Update 2026/07/14: Shortly after leaving a good review, I was limited on seeing reviews on this item. Knocking the rating down to 1-star now. Update 2026/07/20: I am permitted to see reviews on this product again so restoring the original rating.

I have a 5year old Dell desktop computer which had a 1gps network speed. My internet router thruput has been upgraded to 2.1 Gbps download speed, so I was not using all available thruput. So, I purchased the BrosTrend 5gbs nic card. The packaging did come with an additional Nic adapter and driver mini cd. I downloaded the Driver from the website before making any changes just to already have ready once the nic is replaced. Used the downloaded driver file and installed without any issues. Followed instructions, restarted computer, attached ethernet cable, then restarted the router. Attached a screenshot of the latest SpeedTest result. Needless to say, I am thoroughly satisfied with the results. So now I am receiving 2.118 GBPS download. When I checked my internet account online, it showed my plan is for 2.1 gbps speed. Interestingly, I am receiving greater download speed then my internet account specifies.

It would not recognize 5gbps even with various driver updates. The link on their website links to a driver from 2023. I reached out to support, they sent me another driver but that didn't work. Also it was causing random disconnects on the internet and would randomly freeze up my entire system.

Fantastic little gem which cruising at 5gig! no install issues, no heating issue, flying on windows 11. Well packaged and it's got the quality Realtek chip.

PCIe x1スロットに接続して利用しています。Buffaloの10Gスイッチ経由で対向PCの10GNICとでiperf3測定したところ4.7Gbps程度出ていました。速度は十分かなと思います。まだ利用開始して1か月未満ですが今のところ接続も安定しています。ヒートシンクも写真通りしっかりしていて放熱性能は見た目にも大丈夫そうかなと。x1で10GNICはほとんどないのとx1の帯域上性能出し切れないだろうし、これが最もバランス良いんじゃないかな。 また、WoLAN機能を使いたかったのですが、安定してWoL動作しています。

Super recomendado cambio completamente la velocidad del internet, hay que comprar cable de ethernet cat 6 o superior ver como ajustarla en youtube: "como subir la velocidad de mi internet en mi pc con cable ethernet" y listo esto vuela, asi que este producto esta INCREIBLE. Te recomiendo ver el video del producto aqui cuando lo compras y paso a paso lograras colocarla tu mismo sin necesidad de ningun tecnico. Quede sorprendido con los cambios de velocidad que ahora maneja. Checa que tengas WINDOWS 10 es muy importante por que hay otras que manejan WINDOWS 11

Credo la migliore delle schede in vendita con chipset Realtek RTL8126 a 5 Gigabit. La scheda funziona perfettamente, non ci sono assolutamente problemi e ci sono i driver per tutti i sistemi operativi. La scheda monta un grosso diddipatore passivo che concorre a tenerla nelle temperature del range di funzionamento senza particolari difficoltà. Velocità come da specifiche Realtek. Che volere di più? Raccomandatissima!!!! AGGIORNAMENTO: Improvvisamente, dopo pochi mesi di perfetto funzionamento, la scheda si è guastata. Ho contattato il venditore BrosTrend che in 24 ore ha provveduto alla sua sostituzione. Servizio impeccabile!!!!!! Si continua ad andare a 5GB!!!!
