Offers a budget-friendly infotainment upgrade with wireless connectivity
This stereo for Dodge Challenger (2008-2014) is a feature-rich aftermarket upgrade that brings modern technology to older vehicles. It boasts a 9-inch 1280 x 720 HD touchscreen, an 8-core processor, and wireless CarPlay & Android Auto, making it a compelling choice for those looking to enhance their infotainment system. The 4G LTE connectivity allows for standalone internet access, and built-in GPS navigation supports both online and offline maps. However, the 2GB RAM may lead to occasional slowdowns, especially when running multiple apps, and glare issues on the screen can impact visibility under direct sunlight. From a connectivity and usability standpoint, the radio offers Bluetooth for hands-free calling and music streaming, as well as dual USB ports for added functionality. The wireless CarPlay and Android Auto work well, but some users report occasional connectivity issues, particularly with older devices. Additionally, while the unit supports a customizable equalizer, the built-in amplifier is weaker than premium alternatives like Kenwood or Alpine, meaning audiophiles might need an external DSP or amplifier for better sound quality. Another downside is the lack of a built-in WiFi module, requiring users to rely on a 4G SIM card or phone hotspot for internet access.Installation is generally plug-and-play, making it a convenient upgrade for most 2008-2014 Dodge Challenger models, though some extra wiring may be needed for steering wheel controls or backup camera integration. Despite its affordable price and feature-packed offering, the unit falls short in performance under heavy use, as 2GB RAM struggles with multitasking. Overall, it’s a solid choice for those seeking a budget-friendly infotainment upgrade with wireless CarPlay, Android Auto, and 4G LTE, but not ideal for those demanding high-end performance or audiophile-grade sound quality.

Serious Upgrade
This stereo is one serious upgrade form the old school style radios. It adds a nice size screen, which makes navigation a breeze. No more looking at your phone. It also allows you to get your phone off the dash mount and just keep it in your pocket if you prefer. It is easy to navigate, and the touchscreen is responsive. CarPlay for iPhone works great and allows you to get the most out of your phone’s features for safe driving. I will say that unless you are confident in your installation skills, I suggest using a professional for installation. This upgrade makes it feel like you got a whole new car.

Don't waste your time and money on this.
There where a lot of features of this radio that prompted me to purchase it. Unfortunately, that's where the good part of the review ends. Once installed, the sound lasted for about 30 seconds then quit, never to return. My installer did a diagnosis on it it and found power going in, nothing going out. He said he's had a lot of bad experiences with this radio. It's just Chinese junk. I had him install a Kenwood that works great.

Works awesome!!
Price is right. It does a lot more than I thought. It’s literally a plug and play installation if you have basic knowledge. I’m ordering one more for my work van.

Modernizes the car with this touchscreen
This makes the car seem so much more modern. I never thought I'd have a touchscreen in this older car. They made the screen as large as they could for the spot it goes in the car. The sound is better than the original radio.

Good Upgrade to Base Radio, Painless Install, Works Well
This upgraded a basic radio in my Challenger. It was a pretty easy install with all adapters included. Nice to have a touchscreen with Android Auto. Automatically connects after initial pairing and Waze on the big screen is wonderful.
