Well built
This thing is so small and yet so cool and easy to use, "Gotta Love it!" So much fun to try all the presets and then tweak them to my style, who would of thought Leo James would do pedals, I own several of his guitars and they are all great fun to play. Built tough, sounds great and has a decent sound. "Gotta Love it!"

A fun "toy" for guitar and bass.
This device actually encourages me play guitar more without turning on all my amp/pedals/etc. I recommend using headphones, mixing board or active speaker. I was surprised at how great the distortions and ampeg base cabs sound.

A Great fx pedal for the value
I received my little tiny SilverBox amp modular effects processor today. It’s everything that it claimed it was. The sound selection seems pretty good. It's a little bit complicated - it’s very, very small, but I still love it. It will be great when I do my off location recording, and I don’t have to pull out all my amps and pedals. But I would never use this for a live setup it’s much much much too small and fragile for live stage work. How are very, For the dollar, you can’t beat it. It’s a sweet little tiny baby pedal effects processor 🐝

Cool Pedal with Lots of Features and Capabilities
The media could not be loaded. I need to start this review with a couple of disclaimers. First, I am primarily a bass player who also plays guitar. I’ve been playing both for over 50 years, but now I just noodle around with my guitar at home for my own enjoyment. Second, I never did pedals. No special reason, I just never had any guitar pedals. But I decided to try out some pedals to see what I could do with them.Having said that, this Leo Jaymz Silverbox Multifunction Guitar/Bass Pedal seemed pretty cool, so I ordered it from Amazon. It seems to be well made with a sturdy aluminum case. The controls work smoothly and the jacks give a nice secure feel when the cords are plugged in.The Silverbox has standard 1/4-inch input and output jacks. There is also a 1/8-inch headphone jack which would allow you to use the pedal for practice through your phones.Another nice feature is that this pedal has an internal rechargeable battery, eliminating the need for a separate power supply. The maker claims that it has up to a 10-hour battery life which should be more than ample for most gigs. The battery is charged by the now ubiquitous USB-C jack and it can be charged while in use. This pedal does tons of stuff. Basically, it six modules which are, based on my understanding, Effects, Amplifier, Modulation, Delay, Reverb, and Cabinet. It has 80 presets, including 35 for guitar and 5 for bass. You can create your own and save them to the remaining 40. I believe that you can modify the default presets and save them. You can also return the 40 built-ins to the factory default.Another feature that I liked is that you can control the pedal with your phone. I have an iPhone and downloaded M-EFCS from the App Store. Once I started this app, I selected the Silverbox device and connected to it via Bluetooth. I was then able to control the pedal. As far as I could tell, it can control most of the pedal functions. There is also an app for Android. Supposedly the pedal will also connect to a Windows or Mac computer. I downloaded the M-EFCS app to my Windows computer from the sincoaudio website. But after running the app and connecting the Silverbox to my PC via the included USB cable, I was unable to get the software to recognize the pedal. This did not really bother me because I could get the functionality I need from the pedal itself or the iPhone app.I first tried this pedal out with headphones and, with my Strat and P-Bass, was impressed by the tone and the quantity of sounds that I could get. I also ran it through a couple of amps with these same instruments with similar results. This pedal does so much that I am not going to try and give a thorough description of its full capabilities in this review. You just have to try it to see for yourself.Suffice it to say that I had fun with this pedal and plan to keep exploring its capabilities. Being able to annoy my wife with it is just a bonus.

Sounds really good for what it is.
Sounds great for a little device but I much prefer a bigger multi-fx unit.

Disappointed
Effects just ok, although the shimmer effect is nice. Reminiscent of Hall of Fame II. Main reason I bought this is because it was touted as an IOS device interface, unfortunately did not deliver in that department.

Compact & Versatile
All in one pedal with amp simulator, cabinet simulator, 6 FX and preset patches and ability to modify or create new ones. Internal rechargeable battery means no wall warts.I played several of the preset patches and liked several. Some nice clean tone slathered in reverb with subtle pulsating tremolo others with a lot of distortion and some with more than you'd ever need. Simple and intuitive controls and layout.I just fiddled around rather than use the manual to get going. I tried to explore the downloadapp option online but the webpage no longer exists and Leo Jaymz own website no longer shows this pedal or any others for that matter. I guess it is out of production.I have always been a real tube amp and real pedal guy but I am intrigued to see if I could set this up as a replacement for all my gear (except guitar & cable) and do a full gig. That could be a very handy thing even if the tones are not as satisfying.
