Hasbro Gaming Monopoly Game: Star Wars Edition

This feels a bit cheap. The board is smaller than regular boards, meaning so are the property squares. It is hard to get 4 houses on the square. The smuggler and scoundrel cards are another little bug bear for me. On most monopoly boards, chance and chest cards are in opposite corners, leaving a good portion of the board to roll the dice on to. In this version, the cards sit side by side, meaning you are rolling the dice over the cards. There are only four player tokens including Han, Chewie and Lando. These are plastic, as opposed to metal. Even though it adds to the cheap feeling, I don't mind that tgey are plastic, but I feel it would've being a little better had they being painted (I don't know if this would be feasible) Another thing I find strange is the advance to properies have changed. To clarift, all the monopoly versions I have instruct me to advance to the first pink square, the third red square, and my personal favourite, the second dark blue square. On this version of the game, I believe it is advance to a red aquare, yellow square and finally a green property. This in no way detracts from the game itself which is fun to play. What I really liked was the price. It was £12.02 when I bought it, making it a bargain. Monopolies which bare the name Star Wars, usually cost more.

Fairly disappointed . The board is smaller hence the individual spaces are smaller hence the houses and hotels are smaller !! Not really a big problem . The playing pieces are PLASTIC and there is only 4 yet it says for up to 6 players !The box is smaller , there are no trays to help organise the money etc .If all future monopoly sets are like this then I won’t be buying any more

Great game, however the character counters are made of plastic not metal how I remember them to be! Han Solo’s arm and blaster was broken off so not great quality but still a great game!
