Update: The company sent me the upgrade version in grey to test out based on my review on the basic version. Do yourself a favor and spend the $2 for the newer version. The comfort is drastically improved. It's still not as good as the manta mask but it's close. For 1/2 the cost, it's a good alternative. I wish the width of the straps were smaller like the manta so you can wear them over your ears like glasses. The manufacturer recommends you wear them over your ears (not sure if this is as comfortable)REVIEW FOR BASIC VERSION BELOW:I’ve been using the manta mask since the original Kickstarter launch 1 1/2 years ago. I’ve owned 3 of them since then replacing them every 6 months and bought a bunch as gifts. I always bought them on sale and when I was looking for a replacement but I didn’t want to pay full retail and found this one. They quality if the highway is poor, it’s much stiffer which I think will become softer with use but I won’t be using it after the first night. The biggest issue is the selection of the strap material. It’s tough and digs into your ear and causes pain. I hope they copy this part of the manta in the second version and make it softer.In the morning I had the idea of using the highway eye pads with the manta since that’s the part that breaks down and needs cleaning, unfortunately they aren’t compatible. They don’t contain any Velcro on the back. In the end, I’ve used it one time and grow it away. Gonna go buy another manta. Hopefully they can improve on the design over time, we will see.Note: The estimated delivery time is completed wrong. The item ships from China and takes weeks.

These look like a premium brand that keeps appearing in my FB ads. For the price difference I thought I'd give them a go. I have a weirdly narrow upper face and many eye masks don't block out light on the sides. That the eye covers are adjustable on these seemed like a great idea!Except the eye covers themselves are too small and too thin: can't blink with them on. Can't sleep on my belly. I can do both those things with other masks. Nice idea; not well executed

The material is super hard and bulky. I have no idea which designer decide to choose these material. It is so harsh on the face. The eye pads have been stuffed too full and it is not very soft anymore.I'd recommended you get the original Manta sleep mask and compare. It is twice as expensive, but compare to this garbage, I think Manta is worth the price.

I've used many sleep masks and none have been even close to satisfactory for me until this one. It's mostly effective, well engineered and made. I like that it's adjustable. That makes it possible to block all the light sometimes or most of the light all the time. While it's comfortable and mostly effective, it does let in some light sometimes. I put aluminum foil over all the windows in my bedroom and blocked the space at the bottom of the door so now my bedroom is dark. I'm still glad to have the mask and I'll use it while traveling, relaxing on the couch or taking a nap anywhere. I'd recommend it to anyone who needs comfort and darkness. Just because it wasn't completely effective for me doesn't mean it might not be perfect for you. So, if you're reading this, stop thinking about it. Order one.

This really hurt the tops of my ears and was difficult to customize to my face. I'd just spend the extra $$$$ and buy a Manta sleep mask. This mask's material isn't really that soft and is a bit stiff.

These did a great job at blocking the light, but they started to rub against my ears during the night and that area because raw/tender.

This is third mask I have purchased. The other two more expensive ones are full black out with a wider strip on the back. This one leaks light in no matter how I adjust it. The velcro on this also really sticks in my hair. I bought a much nicer one for another $7 more. This will be kept as a spare in case anyone else needs one.

These are a great cut and would be super except the band around the head is sized for very small people. I wear a 7 1/8 size hat and as loose as I could adjust it , the strap is too tight. It rubs my ears and is very uncomfortable. The eye cups themselves are great and soft but the small band makes these unwearable.
