Great product didn’t bend or melt

I ordered these utensils for use with the many birthday parties, holiday parties, and camping trips we have. They are very durable and sturdy, and there is enough of them for a nice get-together. The neutral white color matches pretty much any event we are having. Definitely a good buy!

Great for office use or small get togethers. The knives are okay....just dont rxprct to cut steak with them. In terms of heat tolerance, these are compostable so using the forks in heated food right away may cause them to warp. Aside from that, these are good.

This compostable cutlery set is great! The utensils are comfortable to hold. They hold up to normal usage. They do get bendy when exposed to high temperatures, such as stirring hot coffee or food cooking on a stove. They do not melt at the temperature that food can be safely consumed. They look nice!They break down in a compost pile when in contact with rotting foods for an extended time. They would probably take much longer to break down if it was a pile of just the utensils on the ground with no additional compost materials mixed in, and that is fully to be expected.I love reducing plastic waste!

Although they appear solid at first glance, the bendiness of these makes it quite likely that the fork and knife would shatter when used to cut anything as simple as waffles. Because of this, you should not use them to cut anything. For smaller portions, such as cake, potato salad, or spaghetti, use these utensils with caution because they are fragile and could break easily. I prefer to use sturdy cutlery for all of my meals.

At first I wasn't 100% sure I was going to get knives, but they are in there. This set comes with 50 knives, 50 forks and 50 spoons. The quality seems comparable to other standard plastic cutlery (e.g., can't cut a lot with the knife, but it works for soft foods). 150 pieces for less than $10 to me is a great deal. As for compostability, we shall see. I'll add to our compost bin and see if it decomposes over time. If so, even better.
