Unbeatable price and battery life that feels very durable
I work in a very industrial type setting and needed a speaker that was tough but also didn't cost so much that I'd cringe each time my workplace banged it up. Enter the Anker soundcore. I was keen on their other three letter competitor but the price was to compelling to at least not pick up, and the battery life meant I could run it for 2 days without having to charge. The sound core has lived up to that! Extremely durable, portable - fits in my pocket, slides into my water bottle pocket in my bag, and hangs off my carabiner with ease. The buttons are very firm and feel like they will definitely outlast the battery dying in this thing. Very quick bluetooth pairing and similar to anker earbuds you can connect to 2 devices at the same time. It charges a little slower than I would like but this is rectified by the solid battery life. I've gotten a consistent 18ish hour a charge at very loud settings. No distortion but doesn't seem to project or throw audio like the other brands..not a big deal for my uses. Overall it's a part of my everyday carry that makes life a little easier in so many different ways between my ipad, phone, laptop, and trying to share moments with people. For the price you can't beat it, audio isn't going to be the all out best but it's really solid for the price point. As far as I've been able to tell I have not been able to make calls.

Perfect for my needs
I ordered this speaker on sale for the specific reason of taking it with me overseas. Since I only use a speaker for audiobooks, Zoom meetings and not for music, I wanted something that I could not around and should it be broken dropped or lifted from a hotel room I would not feel that I have lost a major investment. This handy speaker paired easily with all of my devices including my laptop and a rugged phone that my Bose noise cancelling headphones are not compatible with. The battery lasts long enough that I can wander around the apartment I am in all day when I'm working and not worry about the battery dying on me. I haven't really timed how long it last, but it suits my purposes.

Wowzers
I opened the box popped it out of the box turned it on turned on my Bluetooth. It connected instantly. Then I hit play. What you were reading from everybody else about the sound quality of this tiny little speaker is 100% correct. I bought it because somebody said they use it for golf and that’s exactly what I plan to use it for and it sounds amazing! Once again amazing speaker! Just buy it don’t even think about it. You don’t need a JBL you need this one!

Giant Killer
This speaker Exceeded my expectations, and being a SoundCore collector, they were pretty High. I have a lot of bluetooth speakers, including a few from Soundcore, including the MotionBoom Plus and Motion 300. While the Motion 300 is still my all-round favorite for it's sound and portability, this Select 4 Go is much smaller and lighter weight, and holds it's own very well in the sound quality and loudness departments. I highly recommend using the app because, for me, most music sounds better on this speaker with the bass boosted. In fact, this is the first SoundCore speaker, or headphones for that matter, that I actually like the bass boost turned on most of the time. The others tend to sound muddy with it, and suppress the treble too much. Even with the bass boosted, the Select 4 Go keeps nice, crisp highs and warm, clean midrange. I'm hoping that Soundcore adds more EQ options, as they typically have for new offerings in the past, because I think this speaker is capable of more than the current 4 settings are allowing it to do.I only have one of these speakers and have tested it in several environments. I currently use the Motion 300 as my shower speaker and it sounds amazing with it's high fidelity stereo sound, but the Motion 4 Go would serve very well for this, too, and I have to think that a pair of them set up with True Wireless Stereo would probably win me over, if it weren't for the fact that the Motion 400 just fits perfectly in my shower's unused soap holder nook, and turning one speaker on instead of two is just more convenient. That being said, if I didn't already have the Motion 300, I'd probably opt to save a few dollars and get two of these little guys, instead, since two of these cost less than one of the Motion 300's. (Remember, that's my favorite portable speaker I'm talking about) Then again, if I was made of money, I'd just get two of the Motiom 300's and preemptively make an appointment for a hearing aid fitting.I've also used the Select 4 Go in my office at work, which is rather large since it's a control room that accommodates up to 6 technologists at a time and also holds a lot of equipment. Alone, this speaker filled the room with sound better than most of the bluetooth speaker PAIRS that I pitted it against in this scenario. Yes, they were cheaper speaker pairs, but they'd been happily used for the task in the past, and were simply outperfomed by this lone but mighty little guy. Again, I have to think that two would be more than ample for casual or small gathering listening in a medium sized room.I've also compared this with quite a few similarly sized items from other companies like JBL and Bose, and I have to say that, in my opinion, the Soundcore sounds about the same or slightly better than those, but with a much nicer price tag.I've had no problems with connectivity, so far, and setup is a breeze. If you're looking for a small, lightweight, rugged speaker that can actually pump out great sound without breaking your wallet, this is the way to go. I am consider ordering a second one to pair them in stereo, and will update if I do.

Good product
Great for the price, i work at the airport as a ramp agent, i got tired of something being in my ears for hours throughout the day, this speaker is perfect for the job, small, lightweight, and loud, my only problem with it is that it seems to take a long time to fully charge

Great for singing in the shower!
I use this thing ALL THE TIME and it has made showering a lot more fun. The battery lasts forever and the speaker is compact enough to put on the ledge next to my face wash. While it's advertised as being water resistant, I wouldn't test your luck by completely submerging this speaker, but it's handled a bit of spray from the shower just fine. The sound quality is surprisingly good! I wasn't expecting much for the price point, but Soundcore keeps surpassing my expectations LOL. Nice and loud, bass-heavy. There's no adjustable EQ on here (to my knowledge), but the default sound is pretty accomodating to all genres of music.Controls are pretty basic and easy to use. Nothing crazy. All in all, highly recommend if you're looking for a basic, rugged speaker for the shower or going outdoors. There aren't any bells and whistles on this thing, but you won't find yourself wishing for them. Worth every penny and DEFINITELY better than some other speakers at the same price point.
