So far, I love this thing. We don't have a whole lot of bugs, but when one mosquito gets in your room, it's like an army, right?!? It actually came with a little bit of a charge in it. So I turned it on and within minutes it killed 2 mosquitoes. Didn't even hear a sound but I saw them and it was so satisfying. I have since charged it using both the cord and the solar panels and it seems to work well each way. I love the fact that when you fold the solar panels up you can use the whole thing like a lantern( Carried around or set it on the table) or when you fold them down, you can use it like an overhead light (if you hang it up). Put this in my back yard to zap the plethora of moths around my lanai. Slayed them by the hundreds. I did end up running an extension cord cuz the solar charge did not last all night but will probably quit the cord as with most the bugs dead I won't need it killing all night. Was also useful indoors zapping the little drain gnats that pop up.

Many solar powered products only allow the product to turn on when it's no longer daylight whereas bug zapper are concerned. Love the multi solar straps that fold up and also become a flashlight lantern! Also comes with a recharging cable in case you are low on sunshine.

Kills all the pesky bugs! Love that it can charge in the sun so I don’t have to worry about it.

Seems to work great! I love that you can hang this and it has solar panels with LEDs on the opposite side. I’m not convinced that these little solar panels will be enough to recharge it fully in a day… I haven’t been able to test that yet, but they’re just so small. We’ll see. Still though… always nice to not need to plug this in to charge it! The good thing too is that this should last through most or all of the night, even if you use both the zapper and the LEDs.Great design - it’s waterproof and easy to clean - uhhhh, please make sure this is turned off before you wash it. LOL! The grating is close enough so that the little ones won’t get their curious fingers in there to hurt themselves. Pet safe too. Please though, don’t take a chance… keep this out of reach.Very happy with this. Definitely a must-have if you spend any time outdoors.

Will run 2 - 5 hours on a solar charge.
