It is plastic however it is heavy duty and once you screw it on, I swear it’s like one piece of concrete. Hands-down, this is the best product I have had so far. I plan to buy another set for when these get old. And I don’t know when that will be, but I can say these will be lasting a very long time. I love the fact as well That it’s not bulky. I always and I assume everyone else does clean my toilet brush and the base that it sits in after every use. This style is extremely easy to clean as there are no blunt inner corners. So no standing water with bacteria sitting in the base right next to where you go to the bathroom.

If you don’t want anything fancy but want durable toilet brushes that are at a reasonable price point then I’d recommend these. I’m really happy with them. Easy to use and sturdy.

Good value and works well. Does it's job and the reservoir allows you to add some cleaner to keep the brush clean. We have 3 bathrooms, so this was just the right number in a set. There's also some little cleaning brushes included, too - nice to have, although we haven't used them. Recommend.
