Oakley Men's Gearbox Lx Backpacks

I commute by motorbike so a backpack needs to be tough, it has to be able to carry my lunch, drinks bottle, shoes, waterproofs and a lock and also have space to pick up shopping on the way home without being too bulky.Cheap backpacks last less than a year before either the zip goes or strap falls off so I'm constantly looking for a better one.This does not rely on a zip to close the main compartment which is a main part of the structure of other backpacks, it has large pinch clips which is a much better design strength wise and far less likely to fail due to heavy loads. It is also easier to open with gloves on.The chest strap is removable so that's a bonus and easy to re-fit if needed and there is a large zip on the side to allow access to a pocket that is the full height and width of the back. It will easily take A4 size folders and has some padding so would take a laptop although there is no structural support so not ideal if you have heavy items in the main compartment.I was impressed that I was able to lay 2 x 2Ltr water bottles down across the bottom side by side, I would normally stand them vertical but this is wider than most backpacks, this means I can get lots of shopping in it and it's very comfortable to carry. e.g. 2 large bottles of water, 4 cans of beer, a takeaway plus my office shoes !The main gripes are the top flap is a bit annoying due to it's cup shaped design, it's not easy to get it out of the way when loading stuff in (the pic shows the flap turned almost inside out) and the when you pull the straps down to tighten the shoulder straps you have very long loose ends that tend to flap around in the wind but a couple of velcro ties (or weights) will prevent this. Also the drinks bottle nets are a bit small and flimsy, I expect them to fail early but I could be wrong.Seems a bit pricey but the quality is easily twice as good as cheaper ones that fall apart quickly. Time will tell so will update this review if there are any developments.

okley è una garanzia, lo zaino è fatto molto bene, trasmette subito buone sensazioni in quanto a qualità costruttiva. Il peso è davvero ridotto per le dimensioni dello zaino. Lo uso da tempo ormai e posso solo parlarne bene. Unica pecca il fatto che si apra a sacco, e si chiuda con la "cordicella" sarebbe stato preferibile una zip in quanto le dimensioni dell'apertura risultano limitate almeno per quanto mi riguarda, infatti farci entrare un casco integrale risulta alquanto complicato. Si ha la sensazione (anzi la certezza) che all'interno dello zaino si possa far entrare oggetti anche più grandi dell'apertura dello zaino.

Assurdo che nella progettazione di uno zaino un azienda come la Oakley non abbia fatto dei test.l'apertura dello zaino per accedere allo scomparto principale risulta molto scomoda in quanto la parte che chiude sopra,dove è insrita la tasca per gli occhiali,deve essere ribaltata completamente e questa manovra è comlicata da cuciture progettate male. Assolutamente da non comprare.

Estoy enamorado de esta mochila.Multi función perfectamente compatible con Beaspire Bolsa Impermeable Insertada de Cámara, llevo mi equipo fotográfico sin despertar sospechas de lo que hay en su interior. Alta capacidad sin un volumen descomunal. Práctica,confortable en uso con ajuste en el pecho más práctico,bajo mi punto de vista ,que el de cintura,sobre todo para los moteros como yo que necesitamos una Sujeción fiable.Lo dicho me encanta.

Mochila parece um saco com saquinhos laterais com ziperes e só tem PREÇO. A OAKLEY poderia seguir o exemplo da Swiss. bolsas e mochilas muito BEM ACABADAS e MUITO MUITO MAIS BARATAS QUE a marca OAKLEY. FOI MINHA ULTIMA COMPRA DA MARCA. Se alguem tiver interesses SUGIRO AVALIAR MUITO BEM ANTES.

Mochila muito boa, atendeu perfeitamente as minhas necessidades, uso para ir ao trabalho e levar tudo que eventualmente utilizarei durante o dia (roupas, toalha, material de estudo, alimentos, etc). Consigo manter tudo organizado.

Excelente produto, ótima qualidade, grande compartimento interno para guardar coisas. Sem arrependimentos. Tamanho muito bom, principalmente para mim que sou alto.

So I am a paramedic for a private ambulance company where I am in a ambulance for several hours. My old 5.11 bag was starting to show it age and was bulky for the small area that is given. I decided to downsize and wanted to switch to a Oakley bag. I can fit a extra pair of boots, extra clothing, and just the truly essential items I need for a 12 shift. I am very happy with this bag and what it can hold.

I bought this for travel, to carry personals, and electronics, and maybe the odd rain jacket or fleece.My Impressions, it is sturdily built, the top flap is gusseted so it will cinch down snug and keep weather out. It is sewn extremely well and my overall impression is STOUT!.in what may turn out to be negative , there is a PVC or Vinyl, used liberally on this pack, although it is backed by the cordura, I wonder about exposure to elements, freezing and cracking or UV light breaking it down. I must say, that this makes what is otherwise a 5 star piece of equipment in my mind a 3 star, I hope I do not regret my investment.

Bought two of these for my teenaged sons' school backpacks. Jansport, LL Bean, and Swiss Gear packs have not made it past one semester previously. These packs have survived UNSCATHED to Spring Break and show no signs of giving up anytime soon. SCORE. No fraying, no tears, no "something doesn't work anymore". These packs are beyond durable. My Sophomore's weighs almost 50# loaded. Would buy again in a heartbeat, but it doesn't look like I'll have to! Only complaint is like another reviewer mentioned---the top opening/mouth of the pack could be a bit larger, esp. for binders, but that is easily overlooked in favor of toughness. Thanks, Oakley.

Great bag, page spacious main compartment, separate section for a laptop and/or a tablet. Stitched well and feels comfortable on the shoulders when full

This is a very nice, well built bag. I was hoping for a bit more organized outside pockets. I recently used it as my carry on for international travel. It had a nice soft pocket for my shades and phone right on top. The inside pocket has a spot for a magazine and a tablet or pc. Side pockets for water bottles are nice and it has a front pocket that I wish was bigger and had some more organization. I think it will hold up well.
