Works great exactly what I needed.

There is a bit of a learning curve just like any new system, but once i got the hang of it, i got it to do all the tests i needed on the trucks i was working on. The price isn't too bad considering what im working on since the alternatives are usually multiple thousands of dollars.

We tried to connect to our 2015 Peterbilt w/ Cummins engines with very limited success. I was hoping at this price point, it would allow the changing of engine parameters. Unfortunately, it wouldn't communicate at all with the two 2015 Peterbilt vehicles we needed it to.

This is a great tool. My husband does all our mechanical work and the work for friends and family. This helps figure out the problem and get the correct part. No more getting the wrong thing or fixing the wrong thing. It's easy to use, so far very reliable. Works great.

I like having this bidirectional scanner and it's certainly a good value compared to all of the big name brands that cost so much. And this one has the software to work with a very wide variety of trucks. The fact that it is bidirectional means that instructions can be sent to the ECM that will provide changes and resets that are not possible with the basic passive scanners. Also it's providing me with a lot of detailed information that is almost on par with what we see with our much more expensive professional scanner at the shop.When I got this I was kind of hopeful that it would work on my General Motors pick up truck diesel but the ECM is different for a light duty pickup and even though there is a Detroit diesel under the hood, packaged as a GM labeled diesel, the scanner really isn't set up to work with GM Duramax diesels in Silverado HDs. I don't count this against it and I still give it a 5 star rating because it is such a good value and because it does work well with our existing trucks that are mostly Cummins and Caterpillar. And for that job, this scanner is quite good.

I got this from my Ford Ranger thinking that it would work with other trucks besides industrial ones but I couldn’t get it to work. It’s too bad because this thing is really nice. Very high tech seems to do everything that you needed to. I would recommended if you had a truck, but it just didn’t work for me.
