amazing investment
Update: Turn the on demand setting off and do not use on demand option!!!! It drains the batteries and kills the camera. I recently purchased the new Moultrie trail cameras, and I couldn't be happier with my decision! Setting them up was a breeze, thanks to the user-friendly app. Activation was quick and straightforward, making the whole process incredibly convenient. The picture quality is absolutely amazing! Whether during the day or at night, the clarity and detail captured by these cameras are top-notch. It’s great to have such reliability in monitoring wildlife. Also, I found that the two-pack option is a fantastic value. It allows me to cover more ground without breaking the bank. Overall, I highly recommend these Moultrie trail cameras to anyone looking for quality and ease of use in their game monitoring. They truly are wonderful!

I Thoroughly Enjoy these Trail cameras!
Purchased these this year to step into the cellular cam world. I am definitely impressed! I don't think I will be returning to traditional style cameras. Setting them up was very simple, just download the app and it is all self-explanatory, I had them both connected in minutes. I have them in the middle of the woods where I don't even have that great of cell service on my phone, but I have zero issues with connectivity on the cameras. The picture quality of these is great, it takes awesome shots during day and night! They pick up motion very well, I had to adjust the settings on them to lower false triggers (but that was because I put one in a bad spot.) I since trimmed a branch and have no issues with false triggers. I like the ability to choose your picture quality; I lowered the resolution a tad to save battery life. So far, they have been in the woods for a month, and the battery is still going strong! I plan on purchasing the solar kit to go with the cameras in the future. I bought these when they were on sale, and I think they would still be a great deal even if they weren't on sale. They are worth every penny, don't hesitate to buy if you want good reliable cameras for a good price

Garbage!!
There is a reason Moultrie has these so cheap. They are garbage. They admit they having a software issue with them but still selling the cameras. For tech support to be able to help with the cameras, you have to have the camera with you. Well, most who purchase game cameras, it's off on a hunting lease not able to access right away. I've been in contact with tech support over 4 times. Finally get the cameras in hand, on the phone in the woods with tech support over an hour. Had to run many updates and software patches on 3 cameras. Tech support admitted they have a software glitch with these cameras. Seemed to all be working. Next day, back home 3 hours away, I'm getting no pictures. I call tech support. You need the cameras in front of you so we can run fixes. Moultrie dropped the ball on these. My older model Moultrie cameras still work at least. I was luckily able to return these two but was stuck with others that I bought out of the return window. These cameras are not reliable. When they working, they take great pics and video. Definitely look at other reliable trail cam brands.

I like this
I bought this 2-pack of Moultrie Edge 2 cameras and I’m very satisfied with the quality. Setup was super easy and the automatic cellular connection worked right away. The 36MP photos are sharp, even at night, and the 1080p videos with audio are surprisingly clear. Another great point is the 100 ft detection range, which really covers a wide area without missing anything. The app is also very intuitive—I can check the images and stats directly on my phone, which makes monitoring much easier without having to go to the camera. The battery life has been good so far, and I really like the low glow flash that doesn’t scare animals away. Overall, I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a trail camera that’s practical, reliable, and delivers excellent image quality. Totally worth it!

Solid Camera!
The Moultrie EDGE 2 is a solid trail camera with sharp photos, clear 1080p video, and strong detection range. I love that it connects nationwide right out of the box and the app makes it easy to check photos, adjust settings, and get alerts without pulling the card. Night shots are good, and the build feels rugged enough for tough weather. Battery life could be better if you’re running video or frequent uploads, and the subscription cost is something to keep in mind. Overall, though, it’s a reliable camera that saves a lot of trips to the woods.

Great trail cameras that connect to any cell service. Phone app is excellent
Connects to any cell service though sometimes the description seems to imply only ATT and Verizon. My TMobile works just fine. Phone app is excellent and easy to navigate. Be careful with setting up because even with sensitivity set to very low, you can get a lot of trash images due to grass and branch movement. Signup for the Pro service if you have more than 2 cameras - worth it my opinion for unlimited pictures. Too many images really cuts battery life. I have to move 2 cameras because of this. Otherwise battery life if really good. I use the rechargeable batteries.

requires 16 batteries per camera

Used both cameras this past year from October to December end. Pics are amazing quality with a large field of view. Highly recommend using the 16 batteries. Plans are a little pricy in comparison to some other cellular cams we use. Very easy to setup and change settings through the app. Our season was quite cold with snow as well. That’s didn’t seem to eat batteries. It was more high volume of pics that would take the power down.

I like them, seem to have some issue but all of the trail cameras do. I run 4 of these on my farm biggest issue I have is false triggers which can be slowed with sensitivity but I find I miss deer if it’s not high enough. For the price and the monthly price best cameras.
