Letters not very clear as design distracts
In theory itโs great but in practice designs over the letters make it harder for toddler to identify what the letter actually is . Needs to be less fussy .

Great set.
This looks like a book, but it's actually a practical case for keeping all the parts of this set safely together. This is great for toddlers, learning to recognise letters; a few short words; spell their name etc. There are both upper and lowercase versions of every letter. Some letters there are more than one, so you won't run out of e g. a's when trying to spell a word with a few of them. Each letter has a picture of something on it which starts with that letter e.g. A for Alligator /a for apple (upper and lower case have a different picture). The letters can be stuck on the corresponding letters in the carry case, or there is a space on the bottom right to spell your own words. Some of the words for letters didn't seem the obvious ones; not the ones I remembered from alphabet books years ago: much simpler with e.g. A for Apple/B for Ball/C for Cat, I think-shorter, easier words-but I suppose we have to update and change things a bit.I thought it wouldn't be long before we had lost some of these letters-but granddaughter loved that everything could be stuck tidily together in the book-style carrycase. And no letters fell out. Good set. Hours of fun and learning.

Letter "a" is confusing
Good idea but the complex letter "a" used instead of simple.
