Good price point, but only suitable for ponds already lined with builders sand, so not an all-in-one solution
Arrived very quickly, but we only received enough underlay to cover less than a third of the area of the pond liner we ordered. We have had to contact the seller to request for more underlay to be sent over. We would have probably given this product a 4 star rating if the initial order had been correctly dispatched for the speed of delivery and the product itself is as described. As other reviewers have also stated, the underlay provided is very thin and is unlikely to offer much protection against sharp stones and roots. I would only recommend purchasing this product if, like us, you have already removed all sharp objects in the basin of the pond and covered the entire area with a thick layer of builders sand to eliminate rough surfaces (this will cost you an additional £60-£70 per ton from a supplier like Wickes, and one ton was sufficient for us to cover about 75 square meters)..

Extremely good value
This is a preliminary review as I obviously have no idea how long this liner will actually last. It was quite difficult to handle as I’d ordered a pretty large one! You definitely need a windless day (and a helper) to install. The only slight quibble was the the fact that the underlay came in several smaller pieces. Overall though I think this liner does the job perfectly, it seems robust and the already attractive price includes the underlay.

Cheap product risky to as can continue to rip once damaged
Ok... This can work for your pond however it's a VERY LOW QUALITY PRODUCT!!!! Consider this carefully before using it in a pond. Once it has a rip it continue to rip easily. You might get a 40 year guarantee however are you willing to rip it all out of your pond to replace it with a new one from the seller?Pros: Can work and cheap + 40 year guaranteeCons: cheap, can tear easily if a rock tipps over etc... or if cut around a skimmer etc...

Two ways to use this pond liner and it doesn’t include a pond
I bought this pond liner to cover a very large Wendy house roof I wanted to cover the roof in one fullpiece, it covered the full roof and right down the back of Wendy house, I fold it over the sides and useblack hinged screw caps and screws to fasten down, it works brilliantly I did my shed roof three years ago thesame way it’s never leaked or ever had a tear in it, definetly reccomend this liner never used the underlayon the roof but used on the garden to stop weeds coming up just covered it in gravel ,absalutly brilliant.

Very Pleased with this Pond Liner
This does not appear to be a top quality pond liner but that is reflected in the very reasonable price. It has a long guarantee so the manufacturer must be quite confident in its longevity. We wanted a liner to go in our preformed pond which had developed a hairline crack so it did the job admirably - especially since they supply underlay to go underneath the liner. The liner was easy to lay - even with the contours of our existing pond making this a bit a trickier. It folded where required and we used waterproof tape to hold it down where we couldn't lay it outside the pond. The process was quite easy and it looks very good, having been installed now for a month or so.

Pond liner
Good value for money and a 40 year guarantee. Take your time putting it in your pond, I just took my shoes and socks off and stood in the hole to reduce folds in the liner. My hosepipe was on low pressure to give me time to move around the pond bottom.

Very Pleased with this Liner
I had already dug the hole that would become my pond and found that the underlay and liner followed the profiles quite well. There remained some creases but as the liner is two dimensional and the hole is three dimensional this was expected. I used the barefoot levelling technique as recommended and it worked well. Adding the water bit by bit and straightening the liner at the same time meant the creases were minimised.I am very pleased with the result - so are the local birds who use it for drinking and bathing.
