I wanted a new label printer for printing 4x6 shipping labels. The one I have still works but is a bit bulky, plus it's a cheap no-brand and the print quality could be better. This one looked to be more compact and came with a paper feeder tray, so thought I'd give it a try.Setup is very similar to my other printer. Insert power supply and USB cable, pop open the top, feed in your labels, and power up. It comes with all the software on a USB flash drive (nice touch). Install the driver which detects the printer and installs into the OS (Windows 11 for me, will try MacOS later). It comes with 4Barcode Designer, which I've used on my iPhone for other smaller label printers, but you can print from any software. I tried printing 4x6 UPS and USPS labels from the Chrome browser and from Acrobat Reader. Both worked great.The printer is fast, the quality and alignment are better than my old one, and it takes less desk space. It comes with a small sample of 1x2 and 4x6 labels roll labels. I'm using it with my 4x6 fanfold labels. Overall, I'm quite pleased with this little printer and can recommend it.

I was really hoping to use this because I print a lot of shipping labels and figured it would be easier to use one of these, instead of trying to print from my printer. I could not get this to configure to my computer and there are no instructions on how to use the wireless feature to connect it to an iPad or iPhone so I have not been able to use it. It is worthless to me if I cannot connect to my MacBook, iPhone or iPad. It comes with a small “quick start” guide, but it does not say anything about how to connect it to your device. I also cannot get the paper to stay in the printer. I load it in like it says and then it automatically tries to, I guess, configure it or line it up or something in the printer, but instead it feeds it back out the back side of it. I sat and worked on this thing for an hour before finally giving up. Maybe if you have a windows computer you will be able to use it, but I am an iOS user and can’t use it.

The media could not be loaded.  This printer comes with a holder for the paper, the paper, and a USB stick with drivers for pretty much every OS you can want.Installation on my Macbook was a breeze.However, when it comes to the actual printing, I was unable to get it to work. This might be user error, but it prints way to big. Even if I select 4x6 on the paper, it keeps on scrolling and scrolling and scrolling.I will spend more time on it, and if I get it to work better I will update the review.

This Bluetooth thermal shipping label printer by Solux is very good at printing labels. The printer works very fast and prints nice and clear on labels. The package includes the printer, two different rolls of labels to print on, the USB cord (which is awesome because most printers do not include a USB cable!), and a stand to hold the printer paper. Setting this up via Bluetooth was very easy, download the program 4barcode on your phone and it will detect the printer without any pairing. The sad thing is that the instructions did not include any mention of Bluetooth or the app, I had to look at the Amazon listing to find this information. The computer setup was a different story. I plugged it into my computer with the included USB cable, my device manager detects the printer but it does not appear as an available printer in my software like adobe acrobat. I looked on Solux's site for software or drivers and found nothing showing this printer. I searched google and still did not find drivers or software. Then i realized there was a USB thumb drive included with no mention of this drive in the instructions. The USB drive included all the drivers and documentation, it would have been nice to know this before having to dig around. I would suggest that Solux include mention of the thumb drive in the paper instructions or add a sticker to it explaining what it is. Other than the installation issues, once up and running this printer is awesome and I would recommend it to anyone that ships items often.

It's not a hard setup and is pretty straight forward. However, the only thing that was left off the instructions and even the ad, is the default Bluetooth pin they had setup. Granted experience has shown me that 0000 & 1111 are always default. That also applies to here, mine was 0000. However, it wouldn't surprise me if it was occasionally 1111.Overall the quality was enough to overcome that minor hiccup and so I'm not even going to deduct a point for that. Using it for shipping and other labels as needed, this is an awesome & affordable setup for businesses, mobile employees, etc.
