I was surprised that the taste doesn’t bother my cat at all. She loves food and still enjoys this even though it is a prescription food

Seems to work good. Highly recommend by Vet. We have to mix with water before our cat will eat, but she is fussy.

Smells good compared to other kidney diet brands
My cat will eat this. It smells better than the Science Diet equivalent. BUT....Taz doesnt like Pate and would prefer tidbits and gravy please.

kidney function food
after my research this is a good canned food as some vets say for kidney disease and other vets say it isnt lack of protien for youor cat affects them, loss of muscle tone and more its a 50/50 you decide

3 of 24 cans broken and rotten
I need this like anyone else using it because I have a cat with advanced kidney disease. The food is not cheap and I've been frustrated in the past when I've found one of the cans in the package dented to the point that the seal was broken and the food rotten/wasted. This most recent purchase had 3 of 24 cans broken/dented and rotten needing to be thrown out. I'm not sure the packing and storage of the product or if the material for the cans is the issue as they seem pretty light material aluminum. Either way, it's frustrating to have that much rotten food for a product that costs so much.

Food arrived spoiled - Beware
I must say I've been happy with this food. My cat loves it and usually, everything goes smoothly until now. The order arrived 5 days late. I noticed the cat wasn't eating the food that he normally devours. When I looked closer I noticed small black spots. I believe the food was spoiled. I opened up 4 other cans all of them had the same black spots. The seller only offered to contact the manufacturer and let them know. No exchange/no refund! Buyers beware of this seller they don't stand behind their product. This could have made my cat very sick!

My cat loves it
Our 19 year old cat is suffering from issues with his kidneys and liver. The vet recommended a few different foods to transition him to help with balancing out his metabolism. This food is the one he likes to eat out of two choices. The old boy is acting better now that he is on this food. The price was descent and the shipping was fast.
