Versatile Chopper. Every Kitchen Must Have
I can’t believe I found this versatile chopper that made my life in the kitchen easier. Aside from chopper it comes with different blades too that shreds, dices and slices. Also, it comes with a draining basket that makes it easy to rinse and drain the vegetables. The material is sturdy, easy and safe to clean because it comes with a cleaning brush to clean the blades. Above all, it is made of stainless steel, BPA free, non-toxic, rust proof material and that’s a BIG plus. Highly recommended especially to those who love Pico de Gallo. 🍅🧅

Safety and speed, a great combo
This is a new vertical design. This particular slicer is one of dozens of identical design, just different prices. They're apparently the hottest thing in slicing. They must come from the same factory, same color, literally identical, so I would buy the one with the best price. That's what I did here. At first, I dismissed it as gimmicky, but I watched a couple of videos, and they sold me, so I bought one. Well, it does what they say it does, almost. The thinnest setting isn't paper thin like they show, but it's still very thin, and I can see myself making a bunch of scalloped potatoes (one of my favorites) on a regular basis. Also, adjusting the comb slicing blades takes a little trial and error. When I first tried to make french fries, the julienne slicing blades did not slice all the way through. That was user error, since you have to turn the small adjusting knobs all the way, so that the julienne blade is fully extended. Apparently I didn't do that. It just took a little trial and error, but it works great now. Safety. It's one of the best reasons to buy it. It's safer than a regular mandoline because the blade assembly moves towards the food and your hand is nowhere near it. With a regular mandoline your hand pushes food towards the blade, much less safe when you get near the end of a veggie. Also, you don't have to remove or touch the blades to adjust them. Three different knobs on the back are turned to adjust the blades. No dangerous swapping blades to go from flat to julienne or thicker to thinner. The knobs were a little stuck at first, but they loosened a little after use. It's spring-loaded which makes it fast, and easy to operate, but I did find the pusher was difficult to depress at times on large potatoes, and sometimes it would get stuck on the downstroke which makes operating it a little clumsy at times. Overall, the spring mechanism works well. A couple of the little suction cup feet were deformed, but it's still pretty stable when operating. The catch tray is decent size and catches everything pretty well. It's also easy to dump and put back in place if you're doing bulk slicing. Other comments. It's pretty loud to operate, it makes kind of a slamming sound. There's not much to the user manual, but fortunately it's pretty intuitive to use. I was able to figure out every function through fiddling with it. You can slice pretty fast too. I've used it a few times now, and I like it. I do wonder about the durability though, as the materials don't seem to be of the highest quality, but we'll see. It's not hard to clean, but it does make a mess as bits do fly around, and juice drips run down the body even with the tray underneath it. You'll need to wipe up the counter when done. Plus there are a lot of nooks and crannies. It's no big deal, but it's not mess free. Overall, I'm impressed with the design. It's safe to use, very fast, and easy to operate. That said, I don't view it as a complete replacement for a quality horizontal mandoline, or for a dedicated vegetable dicer. It is an excellent french fry/sliced potato machine though. I plan to leave it set up for fries because it is fast and easy to make a batch of fresh cut fries. Update: After using attempting to use it for onions, I'm a little disappointed. I think for slicing potatoes and french fries, it's fine, but those julienne blades increase the drag, my onions end up moving around too much with each stroke, so the results are inconsistent. In fact, I gave up trying to make diced onions. It made a mess, juice ran down the machine and the dice was poor. Instead, I ended up using my trusty Vidalia Onion Chopper to dice/process about 10 lbs of onions. So it's good for some slicing/dicing, but not everything.

Complete waste of money. Unusable! Do not buy!
Very poorly manufactured! Vegetable chute (part that holds the veggies so they can be sliced by the blade) will not click into place, therefore it falls off and cannot be used as mandoline. Blade is moveable but vegetable chute falls off and there is no way to fix this. Total piece of garbage. I threw it away!!!!

Fairly easy to clean; key functions do not work well
Item is fairly easy to clean, though the chute attachment is a bit hard to remove and attach. The angle of the cutting is fairly steep, so you won't get flat slices, but it works fairly well if all you want to do is make uniform thickness slices. The Julienne function hung up constantly and the blades actually started to come out....if this was not past the return window by the time i discovered this, I would have returned the item. Blade is already pitted after 2 uses on veg

Excellent quality for the price
I used this little chopper today to make some home made coleslaw and it came out excellent. Chopped the veg easily, felt nice to use and obviously nice and sharp cutters. Couldn't ask for more. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a simple little chopper, nothing fancy, just does what it says, and does it well.
