UVB Bulb 5.0 UVA UVB Reptile Light Bulb, 13W UVB Light for Reptiles UVB Lamp for Turtle Frog Snake Chameleon Ball Python Iguana Tank

Needed a light for my crested gecko and this was great.

*UPDATE review July 2026:* The bulb burnt out after only a year and a few months of maintaining it on during daylight, off during nighttime. Going to try one from ZooMed I got from an in-person Petco store, as they said theirs tend to last several years. Previous review November 2024: Got this light because it looks cold white, it does lean a smidge toward natural light which is my ideal combination. The super-arctic lavender hognose in her temporary enclosure even at a distance from the bulb, has her colors highlighted perfectly. As I am sure it would for others' reptiles as well. I don't feel prominent heat coming from this bulb when I wave my hand beneath it, and still need the other thermal bulb.

Works great in providing light. There is no heat generation as this is just for providing uvb. Long lifespan.

I only had it one month and it crapped out. It was great for that month but it randomly just stopped working 🤷‍♀️

I have a Whites Tree Frog & a Crested Gecko, each in a 30-gallon enclosure side by side. On "tank maintenance day", I replaced both 13-watt UVB bulbs with fresh ones. The light domes are from the same company, and were bought at the same time. Ib my photos, the light on the right is this product, the light on the left is a different (name) brand. I noticed right away that this bulb is a lot stronger and considerably brighter, compared to the other light. The price point was really good, and the product arrived perfectly without damage. It was a great UBV bulb for my 30-gallon tank, and I would recommend & purchase again.

Absolutely LOVE. Fits great into my dual lamp. Shines super bright. I honestly prefer over the normal brand I buy.

Have purchased this before to fit in my ZooMed UVA-UVB dual lightbulb holder. Lasts approximately 8-12 months. I keep it on a timer for 8 hrs a day over my painted turtle tank.

The bulb worked well for 8 months and is now burnt out. Still shy of one year warranty. To Amazon's credit they refunded me the purchase price honoring the warranty.

If I could give this bulb zero stars, I would, I put it in my heat lamp. Fixture turned it on, and it sizzled and started smoking. Did not even light up once waste of money I would not buy this product ever again.

Este foco es de gran utilidad para nuestros reptiles, recomendado 100%, yo lo uso para una tortuga mapa, y le fue muy bien con el para poder sintetizar la vitamina D que le ayuda a la absorción del calcio y poder mantener sus huesitos sanos! Si llegan a tener un reptil les recomiendo esta lámpara!

Quite disappointed but perhaps it is a one off. Had the bulb for 3 months and it died.
