Very nice quality feel and look to them, definitely much better quality than the cheap standard cables for sure.I switched from CAT5 UTP to this CAT6a S-FTP (shielded). My router has no option unless i change it to be near tv and because of the cables that come to and from tv's and there associated equipment it was important to me to get shielded cable this time.It's a bit much some may say to use CAT6a for gigabit ethernet but one i am future proofing as 10Gbe NICs are coming down into consumer price ranges now and secondly shielded is much better to help cut out or reduce interference. CAT7 was just overkill for my needs and seeing as i am not routing cable through walls as i bought these for connecting devices to router, they can be easily be replaced at not to high of a cost.Unfortunately the higher the number ie. CAT5 to CAT6 the thicker the cable therefore harder to route but that's just the way it is. In my case i bought 1.5m, 1m and 0.5 meter as i am not routing through walls or anything like that having shielded cable will also make it thicker but worth it if you can use it and afford it.Was buying another brand but be definitely buying these again as much better quality, solid and very well made, hard to find good quality cable, everyone claims there cables are good but only some shine. Only had them in use for about a week so only time will tell how long they last. Highly recommend.

I've just about finished upgrading my home network with wired ethernet to a patch panel and from there to my switches and router. These 1.5 m cables were about the right length to go from the switch to the router over an LACP LAGG. I got a load of a shorter length for patch panel to managed switch - they've proven reliable and sturdy enough for the job.As with all cables its always about them being fit for purpose and while these aren't the highest quality nor do I expect them to need to withstand being plugged and unplugged repeatedly - in fact probably not more than a couple of times a year when I rearrange (tidy up!) the cabling.As such I'd happily recommend them.

Simple CAT6a ethernet cables. Perfect for setting up full fibre networks, such as Eero mesh systems up to 500 Mbps. Brilliant for home systems, as they are standard plug and play with excellent transmission and very affordable.

Solid and well built. The cable is a little bit stiff and not terribly flexible. The entire cable, end to end including the plugs at each end is 51cm. The cable minus end plugs is 43cm.

Works well good solid connections

Always remember that the shortest of these leads are for patch panels and you should use at least 0.5m lead when going direct from device to switch.Cable clip protector is simple (I prefer a full boot) but these are for patch leads inside a cabinet so cable needs less protection. Great quality leads!

Ive had branded manufactured cat6a cables from corporate suppliers and wanted to get some from home use these are very good quality cable from a retail seller would defo recommend
