I loved making the horse string art! An instruction video in the listing images shows the entire process of making it. The video was beneficial as I have never made one of these before. I found hammering in the nails to be quite relaxing. The string part was tricky as it would want to come off the nails if you weren't holding it at the right angle. However, once you get so far, the tension from the string around the nails will help keep it together, even if you need to walk away from the project for a few minutes.You don't need to follow any particular pattern when stringing the horse, though I found it helpful to use as a reference when it came to the odd angles between the ears. I chose to extend an ear and turn it into a unicorn horn. As for the mane, I used embroidery string to make it colorful.I highly recommend the kit! I had a lot of fun making it.

I love this kit! It includes EVERYTHING you need… even the hammer! The video on the listing page gives you all the instructions you need, even if you are a beginner. I really love how it came out! I’m skipping the mane pieces and I’m going to embellish the neck with dried flowers instead! Love it!!

This string art kit is very nice in terms of quality. The advertised photos and description are consistent with the product that I received. The only thing that I was surprised to discover is that there were no instructions, nor were there any illustrations, included with this string set. However, there is a video tutorial online, which is helpful. I would order this again in other styles and would recommend this set, but would not suggest this for gifting purposes due to the lack of instructions and plain box (i.e. not great from a presentation standpoint) that it was shipped in. I hope this is helpful!

This is so much fun. It even includes a little hammer that is so sturdy and will last years! I've included a photo. It's the first one I've ever done and sort of did my own style wrapping the string. I was intimidated at first but it's not as hard as I thought and would make a great project for young and old alike. Excellent quality and a decent price.
