I sew a lot, so I could always use extra pins, but these will not be my go-to. There is a lot of sloppy construction, with the pearlized paint halfway or more down the pin, some bent pins, some pins with missing heads, etc. Further, the containers are flimsy and not great for storage because they don't latch/hold in place on their own, so you'll need a piece of tape or rubber band to hold it closed.These are all minor concerns that I could overlook if the pins were otherwise awesome at doing their main job (i.e., poking through fabric and holding things in place), but they are noticeably blunter than many other pins I have, including some I've used for years. They weren't terrible at holding together acrylic felt and were fine on artificial fur for making small stuffies. However, pinning through multiple layers of quilter's cotton was a struggle, and I certainly wouldn't use them on anything satin or silk.

They bend very easy. Many were stuck together and didn’t actually have points.

The value for the set is pretty good. I tend to misplace my little pin containers, so it's nice that the set comes with several little containers. The metal on them are pretty sharp and everything seems standard with other pins.

Easy and convenient. Pins are sturdy, case keeps them safe, and they are easy to use. Sharp enough for even denim and served their purpose.

these pins were useless. there was no point on them so they do not go into fabric easily. Must be forced and then the little balls at the top break off with no effort at all. Not recommended. I know you get what you pay for but not worth it if you still have to go buy pins that work.

As a quilter, you can never have enough pins, but these are not the quality I usually use. They are not as sharp as other pins I have, so I won't be able to use them when sewing blocks together. However, they will be good to use on my design wall instead of using my good pins. They would be good for crafts, probably. The value is OK.

I was worried these would be too short. I like my really longs ones but don't have enough. My other pins are so short they don't work well for my projects which are mostly thick.These go through layers of denim really well. They are just the right length too!With three separate boxes, you will have plenty of back up pins. We always need more!I have not had any issue with these bending and haven't lost a ball from the top. This is an occasional problem with pins for me.These are also pretty. The colors are glossy and cheerful.I do wish the balls were a bit larger. I have big hands and sometimes it's a pain to work with dainty pins.But overall, I'm very pleased with these. I have two boxes in the drawer and more than enough pins with the one I'm using. And the boxes don't pop open when they get knocked onto the floor! Everyone hates that, right!
