The design is good for its purpose. I bought it to hold and dispense the Costco cling wrap that is 18” x 3000 ft. and it works for that. That accounts for one of the 2 star review. The 2nd star is because I like the white color which matches my kitchen. However, the hinge paint has already started to peel off, there is a slight crack in the top of the wood and worst of all: a corner of the wood product was not glued together. I glued it and am holding it together with blue paper tape until it dries. Many things are overpriced and this is no different. It’s made in China and the wood is thin. The ones made in the USA of quality wood were all dark in color and cost more than twice this product. I would have begrudgingly spent the extra money but I didn’t want that dark color in my light upbeat kitchen. I’m not happy with this product but I will keep it for as long as it works. After then, it goes to the trash. I had to clean the slight dustiness it arrived with because it’s a food service product.

I like the product but the quality is poor.

Pros: * Accommodates large rolls of aluminum foil or plastic wrap (good size) * Wooden construction appears reasonably durable * Included accessories (rubber stoppers to keep the base from slipping on the counter, label stickers for aluminum foil, plastic wrap…etc were a nice touch) Cons: * The large, prominent manufacturer’s logo on the front, center of the box is hideous and unnecessary (I had to paint over it). The logo should be located on the bottom of the box (out of view) or applied as a removable sticker. * The included sliding cutter is not sharp enough to cut aluminum foil and barely sharp enough to cut plastic wrap * The lid should include a serrated cutting attachment for aluminum foil as included with a box of foil or should simply have the serrated teeth permanently affixed inside the opening. I had to cut the serrated metal teeth from our Costco aluminum foil cardboard box and glue it to the underside of the lid along the edge of the opening to be able to cut foil (cut ~ 1.5 inches of cardboard from the metal serrated edge, apply glue, and hold in place with duct tape while it dries). * Adjustable “boundary rings” (right and left) for the wooden dowels to keep the smaller rolls from sliding from side to side / to help keep the roll centered would also be a nice addition

I love this! I had a similar one made on Etsy years ago before this product was available and am so excited this is now available! Tattooers everywhere are thrilled that this dispenser exists. It only took 2 decades for someone to decide to start making attractive 18" commercial dispensers that aren’t 150$. Only complaint: Get ride of the name on the front.

When my plastic wrap arrived, the box was damaged and ugly. This box was a terrific upgrade for my pantry. Looks great. Often asked where the got it. Only thing that’s missing is the finger holes to grab the wrap. Sometimes lifting the plastic wrap, to pull it out, is awkward.
