Charlie and Lola Talking Poseable Set

We got these for our almost-2-year-old for Christmas, because she loves the show and books. She loves them, and makes them talk to eachother, which is really cute! I love their hair, which is made so that it will stick up in odd directions, like in the books/show, and the attention to detail- shoelaces, different materials for the clothes, etc. I also love that they aren't very big, because she can bring them anywhere. The reasons I didn't rate this a 5: Like other reviews said, it's hard to hit the buttons and make them talk. I don't really mind this too much, though, because it means I don't have to hear them talk a million times a day, and my daughter is really proud of herself when she happens to do it. She doesn't seem to care anyway. The voices are kind of quiet, too, but, again, I don't mind, because I have stepped on a Tickle-Me Cookie Monster in the middle of the night before, and that was SO SCARY! I don't have to worry about her sleeping with these, because if she happens to push the button in her sleep (which isn't likely), it shouldn't even wake her up! All-in-all worth it for a big Charlie and Lola fan!

I LOVE Charlie and Lola! It's been a huge hit with both of my girls and my younger one is so excited about these dolls. They are a touch smaller than I was expecting but the voices are clear and actually sound like the characters on the show! Quite often you can hear that it's a different voice and I hate that! These are perfect!

My little girl is crazy about these dolls. I was a little disappointed because the item description claimed the said "various phrases" but there are only 2 phrases for Charlie and 1 for Lola. Charlie says, "I have this little sister, Lola." and "She's small and very funny." Lola says "I'm not small, I am big." We've also found that Lola's button is a little harder to locate/push, which is frustrating for my 4-year-old. They've held up well and are very loved!

My three and five year old daughters absolutely adore Charlie & Lola! These dolls were a Christmas presents to them which they loved. However, the "various phrases" are misleading on the description...the Charlie doll only says the phrase "I have this little sister Lola, she is small and very funny." and Lola only says "I'm not small, I am big." My girls don't really care since you can't really hear them anyway -- just a heads up if you were expecting multiple phrases from the dolls! Very cute!

My kids really enjoy this set, they love Charlie and Lola dvds and books, and my 3 year old enjoys the pretend play with her new dolls. Yes, the doll's voices only say one thing but my kids don't mind, and Yes, the volume is quiet, but my kid's ears are more sensitive than mine and I think the volume level is PERFECT! they are not annoying to me, and the sound quality is great. Overall I would buy these again, I just wish that I had gotten them at the lower price that they are now!

Charlie and Lola are really really cute and my daughter just loves them. You don't see any Charlie and Lola stuff in the stores here, so it was quite a surprise to get them. They do only say one phrase, but that doesn't seem to bother her. I know people are saying they "speak" softly, but that isn't a problem to her (and actually a bonus to me....so many toys are too loud)

I love these characters. My granddaughter watches this show and these were such a great addition to her plush collection. I like to order book characters for her to use while reading the stories. It makes it so much more personal.

These have been in my cart for a while and I finally ordered them...they are absolutely lovely!! They are small and very funny....oh, wait...that's what Charlie says! The dolls are well made and have no chemical smell when opened (most I find, do) They are soft and completely poseable. So pleased with them and little son loves them!!!
