I've used glues to prevent fraying before and this isn't the same. The frays I'm working on aren't as under control as I'm used to. They’re just slightly stiffened. They weren’t secured at all.The bond between the two layers of fabric I'm using it for is completely nonexistent. The fabric is just stiffened some. As soon as I took the pins out, the two layers fell apart immediately. I'm using it to mend a hole between two layers in a ruffle and the fabric is thin and I could see the glue on both sides so I know it penetrated through them both. As an added measure, prior to using this I also pinned the layers together with a lot of pins to make sure there was no chance of it separating.Don’t waste your money or time on this. The only good thing it did, was that it didn’t affect the color of the fabric once dried.
