Not Quite the Bite-Saver I Hoped For
I had high hopes for the IDELLA Mosquito Lamp, especially with its Eco-Friendly claims and dual zapper features. As someone who enjoys summer evenings but detests buzzing mosquitoes, this seemed like the perfect solution. Unfortunately, my experience has been a bit of a letdown.First off, the design is sleek and modern, and it fits in perfectly with my home decor. However, that’s where the positives pretty much end. While the lamp offers the promise of being a great indoor insect trap, I found its effectiveness lacking. I placed it in a strategic spot near an open window, eagerly anticipating a mosquito-free zone. Sadly, the little intruders seemed to laugh in the face of the lamp’s electric shock mechanism and continued to buzz around as if the zapper wasn’t even there.Cleaning the lamp is also a bit of a nuisance. The trap can accumulate dead insects rather quickly, and accessing it for cleaning is not as intuitive as I would have liked. You really have to wrestle with the components, which feels more irritating than efficient.Moreover, the noise factor is worth mentioning. Every time the zapper went off, it was undeniably loud and could disrupt conversations or movie nights. I was hoping for something that could operate quietly in the background, but this one certainly made its presence known.In summary, while I loved the idea of the IDELLA Mosquito Lamp and really wanted it to work in my favour, it fell short of expectations. It might be perfect for those looking for a decorative piece, rather than a legitimate mosquito zapper. I think I’ll be looking for another solution for achieving my peaceful summer nights.

Fancy product: Does not works as intended.
It's a fancy-looking product, but not effective. I kept it on continuously for three days, and it didn't kill a single mosquito. It’s supposed to work on the principle that mosquitoes are attracted to the blue light and then get electrocuted—but in reality, it doesn’t work as intended.
