So I need to start out by saying I have only grown outdoor plants. This is my first hydro system.That being said, I bought this on a whim. So here are some things I have learned in the minimal time with a hydro system:Herb seeds are tiny, yes like dust often. They are a bit difficult to get in the seed pods. I see a tiny dropper could really help and I'm looking into them.I got impatient and only soaked my pods and seeds for 5 hours. Overnight truly is best for germinationWhite fluffy mold on the tops of the pods is normal and can be put in the category of good. This really means you have healthy water and it will not effect the plants.If you miss the pod with the seed, it may still grow out of the side (see pic). We will see if that one lastsFill the water tank with the lights on, it makes it a lot easier to see the levelIt's hard to remember where you put each plant, mark it with the little signs providedFertilizer is really easy to make, just make sure you store in a cool dark placeAll in all, this system works well and the timers are accurate. Some of my plants did not germinate (as you can see in the photos) but that is not the systems fault, but my own. I am just curious what is going to happen with 3 larger plants mixed with smaller ones. My system is healthy and happy and at this point very low maintenance. I would say a solid system that seems to be reliable. I will update if anything changes

I bought this after researching reviews and was not disappointed. Product is easy to set up and works wonderfully! I plan to get another one because all my seeds look amazing and sprouted quickly.

Wish the light could go up farther, wish the water tank was larger, don't grow regular tomato plants in these, but you can get them started my tomato plants are only five weeks old and I have tomato riping on the vines, the plants are huge!I have grown romaine lettuce made several salads from them its a gift that keeps giving. I want to see that the winter brings
