No it does not come with a hose and clip, i bought these items from our local gas shop less then £15-00 with a new regulator.

I've had mine sitting on a painted folding metal table. Never had any issues other than some splashing from the cooking process, which is expected, and occasionally overspill from the rear drip tray, but never any heat related issues, and certainly no burning/ scorch marks. I wash the table as and when it needs with some soapy water, and it comes up just like new. No problem.
