Great for starters
I really liked how it felt while playing—the weighted keys are perfect! It’s a great choice for beginners, with straightforward setup and helpful teaching modes. The sound quality is good, and it’s an overall solid piano. I’d definitely recommend this, especially if you’re just starting out!

Sounds Great, Feels Great, But . . .
I was so excited when I found I was going to get to review this digital piano with weighted keys. It arrived and I had it put together in no time. I turned it on and started to play "Baby Face", an old Vaudeville tune. I said aloud "Wow! This feels so good! I hate the non-weighted keys on most digital pianos. This piano played great and sounded great. Then I got out the manual and figured out how to play a nice drum beat to accompany me. At that time, I would have given this piano 5+ stars . . . it was fantastic!Sadly, it was all downhill from there. I spent several hours trying to find out how to start a drum beat and play along with it. I am a lifelong sound engineer and have recorded a gazillion bands from orchestra dance to heavy metal. But i could not figure out how to set a drum beat and play with it. I went to the internet and searched for hours over several days, but could find no support for this piano whatsoever other than the 4 page instructions that came with it. After several weeks and many, many hours, I do not believe that this piano will allow you play along with a drum beat! Why do they even have all those drum tracks? Then my grandkids came over and quickly told me that the notes displayed on the music staff are a half step off . . . a pretty amazing find for 10 year olds! They do all have both a grand piano and several digital pianos in their home. Like me, they loved the feel and sound of the piano, but were not very nice at all about any of the digital features. The keyboard size and keyboard keys are exactly the same as my grand piano. I bought a nice piano bench for about $60. A keyboard cover is included which just happened to be purple like my music room. There is no doubt that this piano plays and sounds good. A student could go a long way in music with this piano and a good teacher. It is wonderful to have it sitting next to my Grand Piano and be able to play two piano music with a friend. And i have no problem taking it to a paid gig to play honky tonk, rag time, and sing-along music. But we found all the digital features to be either essentially useless or impossible to figure out how to use . . . with no support of any kind found anywhere.

Feels great, sound could be better
After using it for a few weeks, I was overall satisfied with this price tag.1. Packaging1.1) The packaging was overall well done, and it seems safe for two adults to carry it because it is heavy.1.2) When I unpacked the box, there were scratches on some parts.2. Assembly2.1) The overall difficulty of assembly is not difficult.2.2) There are three different screws, and the user manual well explains how to assemble it.2.3) The stand parts tend to be quite dusty, so it seems better to clean them before assemblying them.3. Piano performance3.1) The piano provides various sound modes which is fun to play with. The screen show which notes I played which I think another good feature.3.2) There are various sound effect features which seems good for creating their own sounds.3.3) The feeling of pressing the keys is similar to an actual piano.3.4) The piano tone sounds slightly weaker than an actual piano, but overall, I was satisfied.3.5) The volume control is very sophisticated, which is good.3.6) The pedal performance was not satisfactory. The sound did not change much even when I pressed the pedal.3.7) Some of sound modes don't provide satisfactory tone. Some modes generate very weak sound which is difficult to listen. Thanks!

Extra features do not work well
There is a little assembly with this piano but it is fairly easy to do and does not take long. As a basic piano for beginners this is great. It looks good, has a weighted keyboard, and has all 3 pedals instead on just 1 seen on other beginner pianos. It is also a full 88 keys. There is also a headphone jack, audio in/out, and MIDI support. You can also input MP3s on a USB memory stick and play along with your favorite tunes. Some other nice features is the ability to adjust the volume on rhythm and chord features and the ability to transpose. The weighted keyboard works but seemed a little soft and did not have the range of dynamics I have heard on other pianos. All of the above is great but then the manufacturer decided to add features. There are 610 tones to choose from. The problem is many are poorly synthesized and do not match the description in the display or the appendix of the user manual. The default tone is that grand piano which seems muffled to me but is adequate for a beginner piano. Some tones have no sound. Some tones do not have a consistent volume across the keyboard. There are note stickers provided that you can add to the keys (Pic 2), however these leave a sticky residue when removed. The drum mode is interesting where some keys are a percussion instrument. This is great except there is no documentation in the appendix and no stickers provided to label those keys. The User Manual provides the most basic information. Since this is a beginner piano I would have expected a more complete manual. Why was there not a simple songbook provided? The three Teaching functions rely on using the Demo tunes, but there is no way to change the tempo, so it is frustrating to try an learn most of the demo tunesThe display should have been tilted. The note head appear 1 note higher when seated in normal piano seating. You need to look at the display from above to have the note heads appear in correct place. When you play a chord you would expect that they would display on the staves vertically, but instead are positioned horizontally. This is not how a chord looks on sheet music. There is a "strength" button that by default is on. The User Manual is not clear on what this does. Make the tone brighter? louder?I could not find a way to change the metronome volume and was not able to select the other metronome modes. This should be more clear for a beginner.Another problem is with the volume control. The sound cuts out before you get all of the way to zeroI did not check out the MIDI function. The start button for rhythm was labeled "STATR".Overall mechanically this is good for a beginning student, but all of the extra features and instruction should have been better implemented.
